“I’ve loved Ten Thousand Villages since my mom got me a beautiful hand carved bowl from one for Hanukkah in my early twenties. The selection of goods made by makers all over the world is always superb and the ideology of bringing these goods here for consumption and paying the makers a living wage is something I can get behind. We are a slow movement family and buy a lot of items second hand due to environmental concerns, so when we do purchase new items, it is with serious thought and intent surrounding the social and environmental impacts of those items. When I come here, I know that I am supporting small makers from all over the world and our family is proud of that. Recently I purchased socks for a cause and handmade ornaments as presents and they all were well received by the recipients.”

“Just moved to the area with my family and we stumbled upon this place at the mall. We decided later in the week that we would make it a family fun night and I'm so glad we did. The kids, ages 8 and 10, had a blast! We set them up with some credits for arcade games and then signed them up for laser tag and bumper cars. My husband and I sat at a table and had no problem with placing an order for food and drinks. Everything came out fine and our server checked on us several times. I believe the GM also came over to us to see how everything was going and if we needed anything. It was nice to see the added attention even though we weren't with a large party or anything. We will definitely be back for another family night.”

“I contacted Countryside through the 1800-Cut-Tree website after filling out an email request for contact; I received an automatic reply that someone local would contact me within 24 hours. I sent the e-mail at noon and received a call at 3:30 the same afternoon. I dealt directly with Tony (the owner of Countryside Tree) who came to my house at 5 in order to provide an estimate. After receiving a very reasonable quote for 3 trees (2 of which needed Stump Grinding) I contacted Tony via phone the next afternoon. He returned my call around 5:30pm (my guess is after he returned from work that evening) and set the date for work (2 days after the estimate), Tony and his guys arrived on time as promised (8:30 am this morning) and finished the job around 3:00. They were self sufficient and did very professional work. I am impressed and already have Tony coming to my Mother in Laws for another job this weekend. Thank you Countryside!!”
