“Lovely supermarket. Every item is being sold for a $1 and many of them are high quality of every day home consumables and daily necessities. This is the supermarket that will continue to support the American dreamers and middle class and lower working class families and individuals of New York and America. Amazing at some of the lovely products and consumables that will cost me more at other supermarkets. Only things you don't get to fine is the frozen foods, but every other things are good and available. If you want to make more saving for yourself, if you have loans to pay and credit cards to service, I will recommend that you patronize such supermarkets with $ signs on them, you will be making much savings and be spending wisely.”

“This store has various African American and Caribbean Products. Red chili pepper, palm oil, white yam, plantain chips, smoked and dried fish, dried fufu mix. Glad I came across this store so I can get my parents some treats when I visit them out of state. Service/employee attitude could be a bit friendlier to people who don’t speak the language. I am African myself but felt a bit awkward. I am willing to see how the products I bought are and become a regular customer if satisfied. I support African businesses!👍”

“When an employee and an ex-employee places their loved ones in Bethesda-Southgate’s care, you know the level of care is exceptional. I work for a non-profit that places developmentally disabled adults in volunteer positions around St. Louis learning job and inter communication skills. This is, by far, the most supportive, compassionate community not only for my individuals but the residents in care. I have recommended Southgate several times and would be comfortable placing my love one in their care. The dining room staff, the nursing home staff all the way to the Administrator have embraced their duty to excellence in caring for their residents.”

“I love it! Very organized even though it was hectic. All the staff knew where everything was, they were giving out samples of cheese, and nit kids wanted 2nds... they gave it ti them, (i ended up buying the cheese for them! ) lives were long, but moved fast, and who can overlook the fact that they sell oxtails so inexpensive!!!! You can get all meat in bulk, and have them cut it to your liking! I have nothing but nice things to say about this store! I woke up and drove 40min to get there, and 40min. Back! Great place! GO GET YOUR THANKSGIVING MEAT!!!”

“This place has higher prices but good specials. I usually restrict my big shopping for larger stores as the prices are better. I find that the sales here are good. The meat selection is good as well. Groceries I would buy elsewhere. I don't really buy much fresh produce or vegetables (Mostly frozen for convenience and perishability). But I didn't notice any lack of quality that other are complaining about in reviews. I mostly buy peppers onions and stuff that is stable or will be used quickly. Overall if I'm going by I'll stop in but not a destination to go to in itself”
