If you need to rent equipment this is the place to do it! Easy online set-up and scheduling gets you in and out quickly and you avoid the chaos of the lodge rental. The entire staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. If we lived closer and had more time we'd probably get our whole family outfitted here purchasing gear.

This shop has history! It’s been a leader in the WNY snowboard scene for a long time. Family owned and operated (by great Ellicottville locals), The Boardroom truly has only gotten better with age.
Whether you’re looking for men’s, women's or kid’s gear, chances are there’s something you’re looking for. They carry top level, quality brands but make sure to have a variety of price points so you don’t have to break the bank if you don’t want to.
From a hardgoods standpoint, The Boardroom only sells snowboard equipment. But the clothing is universal for riders and skiers alike. You can also rent boards and alpine skis there (no cross country skis).
It’s always great to go into a shop where the stoke for snowboarding is evident. So no matter if you’re just looking to start riding or you’ve ridden for a long time, you’ll walk out of the shop excited to get on snow.

Wonderful ski and snowboard shop owned by a local family. I stopped in recently because I had some questions about how to maintain my skis during the season in between tune ups. Mike was very patient and was able to answer all my questions and offer product suggestions on how to solve my problems. I will be back soon to get a full tune up, sharpening and wax.

Since I was here I figured I’d look around and see if there were any goggles I liked. I was thrilled to be helped by a saleswoman who took her time answering my questions and making helpful recommendations. She made sure to wipe down anything I touched so the inventory would be safe for the next shopper. I was lucky to find a great pair of goggles which happened to be on sale .

The store has a large assortment of outdoor apparel and accessories for everyone. Equipment rentals are available. Everyone in the store was wearing a mask, it felt safe shopping in here. Great location since this is next to Holiday Valley.
