Ellicottville Memorial Library

I love how there were a bunch of kiddos who were being invested in! Just before the children arrived, a librarian came by to warn me that it was gonna get loud for awhile.
Once they were gone, however, it was quiet again.
Would definitely like to visit again!

Great location. Quiet, friendly and helpful staff as well. They even have an outdoor, shaded courtyard to sit. Highly recommend!

This library is wonderful!! I appreciate that the librarian and staff are always friendly and inviting, and strict about keeping the noise level to a minimum. The atmosphere is perfect for the Ellicottville charm and there's very comfortable oversized furniture around the fireplace for lounging, as well as plenty of table room and private rooms depending on the type of work space needed. The children's area is a nook filled with a multitude of good reading options for kids and oversized stuffed animals and beanbags to lounge for the afternoon. The smell of cedar and antler chandeliers make the ambiance! They often hold book sales in the room across the entryway as well. : )
