“This was a beautiful antique store that offers some local carpentry and artist works! The barn had a lot to offer and the owner was very friendly. Definitely visit if you are in town. However, please note that they may not be open during the winter because of the weather. Otherwise, you must check it out!”

“Was on vacation and my alternator went in my car. I called Bill up and he not only fixed the car on the same day he drove to the auto store himself to pick up the part. Very honest and very nice. He made what could have been a huge problem into a minor issue. Thanks Bill.”

“It was okay, but the wine was just average, and they wouldn't let you sample all of what they have for sale. The lady who waited on us was friendly, but altogether, not one of my favorite wineries we've ever been to...and the price was a bit steep, too. $12 to taste 6 wines is a bit much.”

“I just love shopping here. Fashion, staff, and environment are all top notch. It is always at the top of my list for places to go when I am in town. Excellent store for buying unique gifts for others. These gifts have prompted several of my friends to shop on their online store (we don't live in state) and they have been thrilled with their purchases.”

“I had a fantastic experience with Gabel Bros. They went out of their way to help me find the fridge I needed and even made special arrangements to deliver it to me today, because all my food in my old fridge was going to spoil. It was a shining example of a small town business going the extra mile to take care of their customers!!! I highly recommend!”

“The pharmacist went out of his way to call and order a brand that wasn’t normally at their pharmacy. Through all the years nobody has willingly done that, even without me asking. He deserves 10 stars for caring!”

“Used to work at this location myself. Overall, it has a great frozen foods section that is still better than many DGs I have been to. While the aisles are a little more narrow, they make up for it by carrying more useful stock. During my time there, they did take cleanliness pretty seriously. We had to maintain a lot of standards during the Covid-19 pandemic, and I wouldn't be surprised if they still do. The coworkers I had were pretty excellent folks, and the ones who work there now seem to be really cool. It can be busy, but that is the nature of having better prices than the other places in town. Overall, it's a good place to go to if you need stuff cheap.”

“Love this place! A must stop in Ellicottville! Great service and information on bourbons. If you like them, I would stop here for sure! I went with the Michter’s, Blade and Bow and Rowan’s. All excellent suggestions from the gentleman working there. Excellent wine selection and some great beer options as well. If you’re south of the border and appreciate great beverages this is your spot!”

“I found myself passing through Ellicottville on a tire that was rapidly losing air (as a result of driving over a huge threaded nail). I was mildly panicked thinking about how I’d make it the 90 miles home on a Friday night when I was directed by a nice man who I met in a parking lot to try to make it up the road to EVL. I called at a few minutes after 5 (when I knew they’d likely be closing) and was told to stop in and they’d look to see if they could fix it. 20 minutes later I had a fixed flat and was able to make it home after a long week and a lot of driving on unfamiliar roads through unfamiliar towns. I couldn’t thank them enough for staying late to help a stranger driving through. I appreciated their service and kindness more than they’ll ever know. It reminded me there are good people willing to help when you need them most.”

“We stopped by while out for a ride on July 4th and was surprised to find the Quilt Shop open. Amy was cheerful and friendly, we had a nice visit while we strolled through the small, but well stocked shop. All her items are beautifully displayed and tempting for any quilter. We will go back!”

“I have been to many different eye doctors but this place ranks supreme. Never has an eye doctor told me that the muscles in my eyes were weak. And he proved it. He made me feel really comfortable and explained everything he was doing and why. I really appreciate that. Great team and very knowledgeable!! You definitely have my trust and my business!”

“2023 January 4★ A large ski shop with a variety of products. There's a section downstairs which offer discounted products - overstocked or previous models. Great selection given the size of the store. Staff seem ok. Parking available on the side streets.”
