“We had an amazing time!! First things first, as novice glass people, be prepared to go back to get your piece or possibly pay for shipping!! Nate was very responsive over email with questions beforehand. Studio was very clean, great air flow, great lighting, handicap friendly. All that said, it is small, but the perfect size. Glass making gets hot!!! I Recommend earlier in the day. Also recommend sneakers but I don't know if it's required. Sunglasses are a must. No seating or public bathrooms, but if you have kids they may be accommodating. The website is very good too. Nate was so calm, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. The class lasted about an hour for two people making individual ornaments. My 11-year-old and 8-year-old had an amazing time making ornaments. Was extremely hands-on. Great for a gift for, experience. Also many wonderful pieces for sale. Glass is not an inexpensive art. Seeing and learning how it works really, really helps you appreciate the cost of the craftsmanship. Wonderful part of the day trip. Part of a trip to Shaker museum or an overnight in the Berkshires. Just remember to go back and get your pieces!!”

“This is my favourite book store in the world. I admit my bias from growing up next door to it, but I have never been any place like it elsewhere. It's my go to whenever I am back in town. The variety is remarkable. You can find anything from the Classics to new releases. I have never left without a pile, and the prices are incredible.”

“Some nice fabrics and sample panels but they don't have the historical silks and velvet they used to carry. Still some wonderful fabrics for today's homes/lifestyles. The ladies are a joy to work with and know their fabric.”

“Surpassed all expectations. Something for everyone, countless vendors, spacious building with antiques from big beautiful furniture to smaller table items. Our new favorite antique place. See pictures of the hand crafted wood animal bowls & napkin holders we picked up. Happy to offer them a home, we'll be back for the bigger furniture when we have more space.”

“DWR dropped the ball and really put me in a bind. Luckily, Adrian and Emily at Gestalt New York were more than happy to help! It is clear from dealing with them that they are passionate about their craft and conduct their business with the utmost professionalism. I WILL be dealing with them again in the future and would recommend them highly to anyone!”

“It is big and has mass produced items in vast variety and quantity. Do I hate Walmart? Sure I do. But since it is the only place to really shop left in many neighborhoods (due to dark economic design) I shop there and it is what it is advertised to be: big, well stocked, affordable.”

“I went to Hudson a month ago and found this fairly new little antique shop. Inside was a tasteful collection of beautiful pieces at reasonable prices and a few bargains, too. While looking, I had a nice conversation with the owner Mark about early English furniture, and he was very easy going and quite knowledgeable. I highly recommend this particular store, even if you only have a few hours in the area.”
