“The building is falling apart despite conservation. They no longer allow people to get close to take pictures due to possible falling debris and possible collapse around the main building, but you can still go into the summer home, where the exhibit is. The $40 ticket is pricey but part of it goes into the impossible conservation here. Any instagrammable exhibit in NYC would've cost the same or more without the same historical importance and significance. The island is small and the tour only leads you thru a small section of the island that is safe and tended to by the garden club, which is still unnecessarily far away from the main castle. If you want a really close shot and explore all the other buildings lingering around the island, kayak may be a better option, but you might miss out from the detailed historical tour. Not sure if kayaker can get ashore, as they reserve the pier for their tour ferry. Other spots of the island, away from the main popular spots, are not rigorously maintained aside from having an obvious trail to walk on; dont expect pretty garden all over the island. That said, they do diversify to other theatrical activity on the island, such as Dracula show during Halloween season. Definitely a gem on the Hudson, not to be missed. Oh, not wheel chair friendly, and dont eat there. Just eat and go to bathroom before the tour. Have a good time!”

“Great little island. Fantastic recommended views of the surrounding Hudson Valley, especially during the fall foliage of late October. Dress warm though, the wind is cold, especially on the shallow boat you take to get there. Enjoy!”

“Ballet Arts Studio is truly an incredible dance school. If you’re looking for a place that nurtures your dancer, this is the place. The staff at BAS are all very knowledgeable, talented and helpful. They genuinely care about each and every dancer. Katie gives her entire heart and soul to this dance school and dancers. Her dedication and true love for the arts certainly trickles down to all the dancers there. It’s a very special place and I value it.”

“I had a wonderful prenatal massage on Friday at Karen's beautiful and cozy space. I'm 37 weeks pregnant and went to Karen with a sore back and shoulders. In the middle of her working on my back I fell asleep! My first time falling asleep during a massage. Karen is so professional and gentle, her touch made me feel comfortable and relaxed. She listened to my suggestions and requests without hesitation. It was a great experience and I will definitely recommend her for prenatal or any other kind of massage. Thank you Karen!”

“On e of the best gas stations to get fuel. I love their cheap gas prices. And they usually have pretty decent if not fantastic food choices. I would recommend that you get the speed pass and the rewards card and you'll be able to save on all sorts of things like gas food drinks. Coffee. All that good stuff. I also like that it is. Usually a pretty clean store and the employees keep the bathroom very clean and smell good. The employees are very nice and very helpful. Decent choices of cigarettes and alcohol. I go here very often because it is one of the only places that I can find the candy bar that I like the crispy crunches.”

“A very nice experience. Bill and Pete were very informative and helped me answer questions I had about the insurance. The car looks great and they even cleaned the inside of the car before I picked it up. I would recommend them to anyone that needed a car repaired.”

“Had a great time here. So many good things to say: - shuttle from the train station to the mountain was great. Very convenient to be picked up and have our packs taken to the campsite while we enjoyed a hike. - individual campsites were pretty private - the primitive campsite had everything we needed - a fire pit and grill for cooking, firewood, a picnic table, and a tarp to cover everything in the event of inclement weather - the bathhouse was clean and stocked with toilet paper. Showers were great as well. - some really good hikes in this area. The trails were pretty well marked. We were a bit out of shape and took it easy, but there were all kinds of challenging hikes with some great views. - The staff were great as well. Very helpful and personable. We had such a great time we decided to book again this season.”

“The whole office is lovely. I was greeted with a smile, by the receptionist, everyone was down to earth. During the appointment I never felt rushed, they listened to my concerns and helped me develop a treatment plan to address them. Amy the hygienist was engaging and very friendly. Dr. Cruz was caring, and thourough. I look forward to seeing everyone again!”
