Heard the beautiful sermon about Jesus setting us free from our sins. He gives us a new heart and pure desires. Jesus is beautiful.

A great Bible-teaching church, in the tradition of the Calvary Churches started by Chuck Smith out West. Their focus is on God's word and our savior Jesus Christ. I would go more often if it were closer to home, but 30 minutes really isn't bad for a good church.

Today was my first visit inside Calvary Chapel. I was so moved with complete awe. First I want to say the set up of the church is great. Plenty of parking and seating . Two big screens to view scripture , a great band, and they show the words of the songs on the screen for u to follow. But the most important thing I experienced today is the spirit of the Lord. It is alive and well at Calvary Chapel Poughkeepsie. I could not stop crying . The people are welcoming and friendly. Their cafe is a real treat too! I just really loved their music it moved my soul. And Pastor Bobby kept my attention for the whole service . In fact, I left wanting to hear more . Also, how they administer communion is innovative ; safe and efficient....by being placed in a sealed hourglass vessel , u get the sacrament . I can't wait to return. They are amazing. The energy is pure love and light . ....Thank You Calvary, I can't wait for next Sunday . This is what my soul and what my family needed. Xoxoxo

I love this church. The welcome people are lovely, the messages are awesome. Pastor Bobby really digs deep in the word. He's very easy to follow and comprehend the messages, I learn something new every Sunday. All the worship team members are awesome and they really produce an awesome sound with the instruments and voices, the worship singers change out so they have a mixture of different newer and older songs. Awesome to sing along to or just listen and enjoy. God bless this church. He's doing great things in the Hudson Valley.
