“Dr Ashton has been my Dr for 11 years I went to 3 or 4 drs before him I was so lucky to find him and him take me on as a patient. He is so kind. He listens. He’s smart he knows medicines and what they do and how they affect you, so you can’t fool him. I. NEver tried. But I am warning the reader. He’ll know . He never gives up on you. He takes his time with you and asks you questions you would never think to to tell him. He works so hard to get you better. He answers your phone calls and will take you in to see you if your having a rough time, in a day His staff can be a little rough at times but they are not the Dr. he is, and the best one I’ve ever had. If he’ll take you as a patient you are one lucky person.”

“Rooms are small and very expensive but lovely. Dinner in the main Dining room is great, lunch buffet is ok. We reserved a time in the Granary for dinner on Thursday night and were put in the main dining room because the Granary is closed on Fridays, which didn't make sense and just seemed like a miscommunication. So we had dinner Thursday AND lunch Friday in the main dining room (lunch was buffet and didn't seem necessary to make a reservation) and never got to check out the Granary. The hiking was great, the lake was beautiful, the grounds were wonderful. The price is steep, but for a special occasion, this place is fantastic.”
