Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Buffalo Amherst/University

The hotel staff was really friendly! Our room was clean. The continental breakfast was okay ... I arrived toward the end so they were out of oatmeal and fruit. The gym was nice but there weren't any towels and it was humid.

Loved the big bright bathroom. Nice open lobby. Snack store! Great clean warm pool and hot tub open untill midnight. The only thing keeping them from 5 Stars is the front desk calling at 12:02pm while I was on my way out the door for noon checkout. Slow your roll and chill! 10-30 minute leeway is common at 99% of places. Calling at 12:02 is rude.

Very clean rooms. Super comfy bed! Decent breakfast included. 24/7 coffee!!! ? Would definitely recommend. Will stay again next time we are in there area.

Turns out that the Fairfield Inn was much nicer than expected. It is nearly new, clean and nicely decorated. Rooms are bigger than expected- we had a suite, and the bed was very comfortable, slept well! Breakfast was excellent, with lots of choices, all fresh pastries, bread and fruit. Cost was reasonable, too. And staff were responsive and solicitous. One more night there, we'll see how it goes the night before Eagles-Bills (We're all Philly, Eagles fans!)!

Newer hotel with decent exercise facility and large breakfast area that doubles as a nice common social lounge the rest of the day. Clean, comfortable, quiet rooms. Getting there is goofy with GPS, but once you use your own senses it is easy.
