“I was just in this establishment, and in quite a rush for compression socks, as I was scheduled for a procedure an hour from my visit there. I was led to believe that the list of places to get these socks (given to me from my MD), would accept my insurance. The woman, ( I assume the owner),greeted me very promptly. I explained my situation, she asked about my insurance and told me they would not cover the cost. ( btw thigh high compression socks $130.00, knee high $40.00; that seems about right????). As I thanked her, and was going to leave, she gave me some suggestions to try to cut my cost. She did not have to do that. She could have waited for me to return with my credit card. Her suggestion ( which I won’t reveal, as I do not want to take away from her business ), I’ll just say saved me $130.00. I tried to call to thank her, however, that phone number is not in service. I even tried 411. I did notice a sign on the door that the number had changed. It is not correct on the website either. I don’t know what insurance covers what, I don’t have the best, but if you need medical gear or what not, GO THERE! Not only did she help me solve a big problem, the most important part to me is that she was KIND. Unfortunately, in today’s society; genuine, empathetic, and truly kind people are few and far between. Once the phone number is updated I will be giving her a call. I hope she reads this! “Had a great Sunday dinner special tonight with my bff my Mom...Started out with cups of soup (I had czarnina and Mom had chicken noodle, both with yummy kluski noodles) Had Zrazy (rolled steak), mashed potatoes, gravy, sweet n sour cabbage and strawberry shortcake all included in special!!! “When we walked in there was no body there. Someone finally came in, but he was dealing with the trash, and didn't seem interested in helping us try on any shoes. When he finally did come to help he really helped! He was on the ball, quick to get different sizes and styles. He was very knowledgeable, and helped both my Mom and I find what we were looking for. We ended up with 4 pairs when all was said and done! They had great shoes with the support we both need, and at good prices. Higher prices than I've ever paid for shoes, but well worth the investment, I think!”

I was also pleased with the service. The lobby isn't particularly exciting, but it doesn't really need to be at this price point. I usually don't stay at a hotel to lounge around in their lobby.”

“Lived here 24 years in the area never went to this little market. What a gem! No one around me had a quality full packer brisket. I looked on their website at their sale flyer and they had one at $4 a pound and it was prime as well. Good price for a nice quality brisket the store was very clean neat and organized I was very impressed service all the way around. It was outstanding! Mask worn properly as well. I will be back, no worries! they are my new favorite place to go for meats and things as such!!”

“The local staff at 1477 Main Street, Buffalo, NY are amazing. Smart, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful. The staff on the national phone lines, not so much. Gave much misinformation, when I questioned anything, the answer was pretty much that's how it is. They sent me first to the airport, knowing I had prepaid with a debit card. Airport staff stated they don't accept debit, only credit, and that national staff know that. So I had to change reservation to local Main Street shop. Had to take cab to both locations, costing me an extra $50-$60. Not happy with them. Very happy with Main Street staff.”
