Dr. Mungillo is the best! He is one of those rare doctors who truly listens to you, cares, is reasonably openminded (if you come with ideas), and is very knowledgeable. He helped to get my rare disease diagnosed and has been there consistently with figuring out what to do next. Additionally, he is super responsive on MyChart and his staff have jumped through hoops to help me with insurance issues and to get referrals organized. They're all pretty awesome! Also, I'm LGBTQ and he's cool, his staff is cool. U of R folks are well-trained in cultural competency; so, if you've been made to feel different elsewhere, I wouldn't worry about that here. You're in good hands.
