“Wow! The Dharma is alive and well at this bespoke Zen retreat center created by the Rochester Zen Center (In the lineage of Roshi Phillip Kapleau the author of The Three Pillars of Zen). Designed from the ground up to be optimized for Sesshin (Zen retreats) and situated on a picturesque landscape of rolling forested hills, a pond, and flowing stream, there is no better place to make your stand (or rather seat) for your quest for enlightenment. Roshi Kjolhede and his Dharma heirs masterfully run 2, 4, and 7 day sesshins in an integrated zen style, bringing together the best aspects of the Soto and Rinzai Zen Schools. The approach is adapted to be friendly to westerners, as well as non-westerners, while retaining the striking vigor of its Japanese origins. I just finished my first 7 day sesshin and I know I will be back. I cannot recommend this location enough for your first, or next sesshin. I am so moved by my experience that I am shamelessly promoting this to my utmost (I was not asked to review nor am I being compensated). BTW, the center is also available for other groups to run meditation based retreats in between sesshins.”

“The staff here are great. Short wait times if any wait at all. Highly recommend this lab over any others. My veins are hard to find, but they did with very little trouble. The staff is friendly and respectful as are the people at the Batavia Primary Care next door in same building. Margaret Johnson N.P. and her staff are excellent. I highly recommend. “The clinic in the back has been nothing short of a life changer. If you are ready to change and make the changes needed then this place has all the support you could need. Medical staff is up to date on addiction treatment and they don’t shove the AA/NA down your throat. I am a great father/son/brother/husband because of the support I’ve gotten from this place from the last 8 years. Majority of those years I walked down the wrong path, but in the last two since daughter was born everything has fallen into place. If you do what you are supposed to do you will do amazing here. If you don’t do what your supposed to they will hold you accountable. This place has been a godsend for people of this area who had no other options and hope it only grows from here.”

“Dr. Mungillo is the best! He is one of those rare doctors who truly listens to you, cares, is reasonably openminded (if you come with ideas), and is very knowledgeable. He helped to get my rare disease diagnosed and has been there consistently with figuring out what to do next. Additionally, he is super responsive on MyChart and his staff have jumped through hoops to help me with insurance issues and to get referrals organized. They're all pretty awesome! Also, I'm LGBTQ and he's cool, his staff is cool. U of R folks are well-trained in cultural competency; so, if you've been made to feel different elsewhere, I wouldn't worry about that here. You're in good hands.”

“I was at Premier Nursing and rehab visiting a friend who is going to be there awhile. The facility is very clean, spacious, Warm and inviting. The nurses were respectful and very helpful and overall I would say that the visit was great. It’s very nice to see people that care so much about there job in nursing at Premier.”
