My family and I had a fantastic time rafting! There were higher water levels than usual, but nonetheless we had fun. They closed off the second half of the river, since it was too dangerous, but we were accommodated with another ride of the first half and delicious cookies paired with cool water. Three out of eight of us fell out but were safely rescued. I loved every bit and would recommend for anyone wanting an adventure. Scary Larry was the best and very accommodating: We had a few non-English speakers. We will be back for more!

Had Steve as a guide and not only did he manage to make it an exciting, adrenaline racing trip for our group, he also made sure we felt safe and aware of our surroundings and what we needed to do at each section was clearly explained. Highly recommend!!

We had the best time! So much fun and thrilling. The 3.5 hours down the river goes by so fast. The water wasn’t as cold as I was expecting. Liz was our guide. She was so great at giving instructions and making it fun for us. All the other employees were all so great as well. I would definitely go back with an even bigger group.

This was the best guided rafting trip that I have ever participated in. All of the guides and staff were extremely knowledgeable and entertaining, which made the experience so much more enjoyable. Highly recommend for both family trips and team building work functions. They set such a high bar on the rafting experience that our recent trip down the Potomac river was really lame in comparison. Can't wait to go back to float the Black River with them again.
