“I dropped by as a walk-in needing a haircut and a beard trim. The place seemed to be popular, and was busy even though it was mid-day on a weekday. I expected to wait, but Billy was able to get me in right away. Billy mentioned that he doesn’t cut straight hair very often, which makes sense since I was the only white guy in the shop. Although this may have given rise to some reservations since straight hair isn’t his specialty, it turned out that I was in excellent hands. Billy did a great job. He took his time, asked plenty of questions, and cut my hair with more care than any barber I’ve ever gone to. It’s clear that Billy, who has been cutting hair for over two decades, loves his job. He’s great at it. He’s also a good conversationalist, and I enjoyed chatting with him and the other customers. The shop has a great neighborhood vibe. I am happy to say that I have found my new barber.”
