Domino Park

Address: 15 River St, Brooklyn, NY 11249, USA

Park

“I recently visited Domino Park after a long time, and it was relaxing to sit back and watch the ferries pass by on a beautiful sunny day. The park was quite crowded due to the perfect weather. While dogs are not allowed on the lawn, which may be disappointing for some pet owners, the park does feature some unique playground equipment that sets it apart from others in the area for families with kids. However, there are some areas where the park could be improved. For example, there is no restroom specifically designated for the playground area, which would be more practical. Additionally, the park could benefit from additional shaded areas and seating options. A reliable internet connection would also be beneficial, as many visitors use their devices in the park. Finally, the installation of portable toilets would offer a convenient and easily accessible option for all park-goers. Overall, Domino Park is still a must-visit. However, with a few improvements, it could be even better.”

“Hello I have been a part of this Community Garden named Berry Street Garden for 15 years. And I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing the many continuous changes in this particular Garden which is located at 303 Berry Street between South 2nd Street & South 3rd Street Brooklyn, New York 11249. What I truly enjoy about this particular garden is the amazing, loving, helpful and especially respectful Community Garden Members who participate as well in our Events besides helping to maintain the Garden look presentable at all times. My family and I created 2 FREE EVENTS for the Community EASTER & HALLOWEEN. We build our own unique themes and characters with the help of the Community Children and their Family. We also have planting season every year for the Community. The Garden Members also have their own planting beds. The Berry Street Garden is a very welcoming garden to all who visits and we usually give them a little treat as a thank you for visiting. We have tables and chairs so people can sit and have lunch read a book or just relax and enjoy the beauty of the garden.. All who visit always appreciate the Berry Street Garden and all we as a whole do for the Community. We also have Facebook you can follow and look at all the beautiful photos and videos we share about the beauty of the Berry Street Garden... Thank You Berry Street Garden Members”
