“Any bad reviews here are ridiculous. Friendly staff, good selection, good prices. And the best chopped cheese in BK. This place is the cornerstone of the neighborhood. Mike himself is a BK institution.”

“You definitely get that family pub feel the minute you step inside. The bread pudding paired with their homemade custard is delectable. Definitely recommend the weekend brunch specials.”

“I live close by and eat the food from Batata frequently. If you’re okay with eating eggs and dairy, the absolute best thing on the menu is the scrambled egg and cheese malawach, with schug and grated tomato on the side. A sweet runner-up would be the coconut milk waffles (the house-made sweet chili butter served on the side is outrageously delicious). The eggplant and labne sandwich is also really good, but I think they only serve it on Wednesdays now. If you’re vegan, I’d recommend the sweet potato felafel sandwich WITHOUT the feta (or with, if you eat dairy), or the lentil soup. (The grain bowl and brussels sprouts used to be really good, but I’m not sure if they’re on the menu anymore.) I like the mint lemonade, too, and you can never go wrong with hummus (particularly the mushroom hummus) and sweet potato fries .”

“Stand Thai is an extremely good Thai restaurant that consistently delivers delicious lunch and dinner options at a reasonable price point. The staff is pleasant and knowledgeable, and they will remember you after a few visits. If you’re looking to try a Thai place, this is a great option!”

“Sue is a brilliant and kind therapist who has helped me in immeasurable ways. We’ve been working together exclusively via telehealth, which I was skeptical about. However, it’s been seamless. It also gives people all over the world the chance to work with Sue! Her ability to hone in on the body is remarkable. But it’s how she uses this ability to get to the core issues of one’s life that is so astounding. She then helps you use your own body to change age-old patterns. She is a master mechanic of the autonomic nervous system!”

“Nice place, but wish they had more bakery items available. We were there at noon today and they were basically out of everything. Seems like they should have more availability, especially on a weekend”

“This is my local pizza place of choice. The pizza is great, the dough is a little on the doughy side. The wings are great, and we always get a big salad 🥗. Great spot, give it a try. They have specials.”

“I've never been disappointed by anything Joe serves. The sandwiches are great (but only served until 2 I think), the meatloaf is my favorite but you can't go wrong. As far as the prepared foods I recommend the pesto, snow peas, and if he has any the eggplant parm. Best eggplant I've ever eaten, the layers are so thin it's a work of art.”
