“We have been with Greenwood Heights Playgroup for 3 years, and couldn't ask for a better playgroup for our kids. Patty and Maya are caring, warm, funny and creative. They helped both my sons have smooth transitions from being at home full time with me to playgroup. I love the focus on play and creating a little community of their own for the kids. My kids loved the weekly music teacher, the walks to the park, the backyard, and time to play with friends! The part time option was great for our family. Highly recommend!”

“In the words of John Quincy Adams, If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more, and become more, you are a leader. This is the biggest quality that Michael Horwitz. possess. He tutored my 11 year old Autistic grandson. He opened many doors for a child who lives in his own little world. Michael is patient and compassionate. These qualities are a necessity when working with children who have disabilities. Michael is responsible and dependable. He never missed a tutoring session. He treated my grandson with respect. His accomplishments may have been small (verbally counting to 20 or signing I love you), but Michael made my grandson feel like he had just climbed Mt. Everest. As a recently retired teacher, I would strongly endorse Michael Horwitz to assist any family who has a child who can benefit from a professional who specializes in customized education plans for your family’s unique needs.”

“The student body is diverse and motivated. I feel like I am getting the best possible architecture education experience. Taking out loans hurt but I personally feel Pratt is worth it. Their architecture program is giving everything I expect from one of the top architecture schools in the world. Leading professors, motivated classmates, constant exhibitions, the school working closely with the city beyond campus, WORLD CLASS fabrication labs and tools, fancy studio space, etc. At Pratt the world becomes your oyster.”

“P.S. 375 has changed its image throughout the years. It was considered a "bad" school. But ever since Dr. Wilson took over in 2006, She has made a positive impact on the school climate, the children, and the community. I applaud the principal, and teachers...They deserve recognition. This is a great learning environment and the teachers work extremely hard. Most teachers at this school devote their lives to these children. Its a great school and they strive for EXCELLENCE.”

“Based on me as a student at Marketing and Legal Studies, I believe that M.L.S is a good school. The teachers are willing to work with us and to assure us along the way. The teachers have been preparing us for the state exam. The principle is a loving person who make sure we stay on the right track all the time. I believe that this is a good school to send your child.”

“This school has helped me so much. I graduated this year with the ability of speaking Spanish and English fluently, and I know it will help me later in life. I would definitely recommend this school to everyone, the teachers here are very respectful and they make learning fun, the kids sometimes do get very rowdy but the teachers help everything stay in control, and everyone is so helpful. I have never suffered bullying here and I have found my group of best friends. There is a lot of diversity and I will really miss this school. It is very clean, and has a "homie" feeling to it, with a very panoramic view in the fourth floor. We also have a greenhouse which the younger grades visit and help take care of and also a peer mediation program where the peer mediators help students solve their problems and come to solutions. The principal is very nice and helpful, and the teachers always get together to plan new lessons that the kids will enjoy and learn, and it has a very positive environment. This school leaves you feeling prepared to enter the "real world" with inalienable experiences, knowledge, and friendships. I rate this school 5/5!”

“I personally think Ascend in general provides a great atmosphere & curriculum for the students to learn and elevate. There are always bad apples in the bunch sometimes but that's everywhere. I just feel like SOME of the teachers need to be a little more compassionate towards the students. Everyone is different and you don't have to be so harsh ALL the time ; especially with kindergartners. Overall ASCEND has a great system and I hope they keep growing and being successful. They prepare the kids for the future and that's most important.”

“Just finished my second week of classes and am extremely happy with the school. They have a great knowledgeable staff of instructors and front desk staff. Mr. Sajdak (instructor) is amazing. He really promotes the students to ask questions and makes sure the whole class understands the material. Front desk was very helpful and doesn't mind to stay in the office longer to help the students and are very friendly. I have taken this class in another school near by but was not able to finish the course (it was very Russian oriented). I would definitely recommend this school to anyone looking to get licensed or take Continuing Education.”

“My daughter had a positive Middle School experience at WCCS. A teacher in district 14 told me that she was never going to do well in math. At WCCS she passed her Algebra regents with an 87. As well as top 90s in all her classes. WCCS is the gem of Williamsburg!”
