(July 27, 2016, 4:30 pm)Sensei Rymaruk teaches in the traditional, practical, style of Okinawan Uechi-Ryu. He only accepts students old enough to learn (5+), and promotes belt ranks based on merit, not time at the school. This is important to me because I don't want a participation ribbon, I want to learn. I find this style of karate great for my balance, strength, and self discipline. I think it's cool that Sensei's son teaches and practices as well. It's truly a family business where students aren't seen as dollar signs. I highly recommend the dojo.
