(December 4, 2022, 6:25 pm)Open kids going in to play basketball lots fun for young people. Receptionist friendly my questions answer, places booked no empty party room. That's great, to Know, that local people have a great place, they can rent safe, clean bathrooms, and elevators; friends enjoy themselves, easy clean up, then go home 🏡 and rest.

(June 9, 2021, 2:23 pm)A nice, local community park that I grew up in that now also hosts concerts and community events. It has basketball, tennis & handball courts, a public swimmimg pool, a baseball field, a playground & bathrooms. I personally knew the gentleman that the park is named after. He was good, community guy.
(August 6, 2019, 11:01 am)A pleasant small park. Not too crowded. Some shade. Lots of sun. But be warned urban ave RR crossing is closed to vehicles and pedestrians. There is free shuttle service or a long walk to cross the tracks at Grand Blvd. Shuttle stops are Rushmore & Broadway and Urban Ave & Main St. Runs every 30 minutes 7 AM to 7 PM every day while construction of Urban Ave underpass continues.
