“One of the oldest, if not the oldest, running bar in NYC (don’t quote me on that but that’s what I was told). They just went under new management and redid the menu. This place is a must try. Great cocktail menu with plenty of options on the regular menu. We had some Atlantic oysters that were super fresh and the grilled bacon to start. Our server recommended the smash burger and the Chicken Paillard. Burger was one of the best I’ve had in the city. The Paillard was incredible. Super light, crispy, and the lemon kick was just what it needed. 10/10 dish. Of course we had to get the mac & cheese as well and it was great. Big fan of this place and will be back soon.”

“My husband & I stayed in the 1 bedroom suite and everything was great. The staff was extremely nice and helpful to everyone they interacted with. Even the cleaning staff was very sweet to chat with in the elevator. If you are looking for a great place close to everything but still fairly quiet this is perfect. The room was very large for the price and we received a call daily to make sure there wasn’t anything we needed. You won’t get an amazing view but there are other hotels for that which are louder, smaller and more expensive. This hotel was perfect for us!”

“If you’re looking for affordable, easy, and quick bartending classes this is the place to go. Stephanie is an incredible, compassionate instructor who wishes for everyone to succeed. Not only does she provide her students with bar and drink knowledge, but she also gives advice for what to do when entering the work field. Even though there are a lot of drinks to learn every class starts with a review of previous lessons. Doing the drinks over and over each day really helped commit the recipes to memory. I had a lovely time at this school and highly recommend.”

So light and fluffy the crust, so perfectly spiced the classic filling. Mango Lassi is wonderful with a sweet touch of whipped cream. I’m also going to have my favorite— saag (spinach) paneer and garlic naan. The owner is here — so welcoming and very grateful for his customers during these times that are so challenging for restaurants and retailers. This is a very sweet, homey place.”
