“I have been to plenty of farmers markets before, but I have never seen so many different foods at the same place. They have everything! Fruits, vegetables, honey, fish, turkey, and plants. Definitely a one-stop-shop.”

“My friend and I went to Talia’s for the kosher Haitian popup back in July. My friend keeps kosher but was also vegan, so we were looking for things to order that we would both want. We ended up with the classic stew, I got the meat version and she got the vegan. I tried hers and it tasted EXACTLY the same. You’d think that means they did such an excellent job replicating the meat flavors, but to us it felt more like the meat was an afterthought in the stew. They say they bring in chefs from these cultural backgrounds (Haitian chef was Haitian, their Indian popups have been Indian chefs) but to me it felt like they must’ve told her the audience can’t handle the full flavor of her food 🫣 I felt bad, as I’m sure she’s a great chef, but the food we tried didn’t have any strong flavors, and certainly none that stood out as unique to us. Our expectations were sky high as we both travel a lot and I eat dairy out, so we weren’t sure what we were expecting… I just think we were hoping for more brightness and shock value than this. In NYC, you can try an authentic dish on almost every street corner from a part of the globe you may have never heard of, but it’s the best thing you’ve ever had. Here, the food was fine and unassuming, but did not blow us away with any incredible flavors. I want to keep coming back to popups but please allow the chefs full creative control of their meals! We like Talia’s and I do not want this fi be seen as a negative review, but I would love for them to prove to us that their popups can be truly authentic. :) (This same friend stopped being vegan and went to the Indian popup more recently and reported a similar experience).”

“I was here for my birthday last night. It’s a very unusual restaurant in the west village. One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in New York for a long time. First of all, if you’re looking for a restaurant with a reasonable noise level, this is a place for you. The staff is very attentive and knowledgeable. All the dishes were outstanding, from the presentation to the quality of the ingredients. I had the smoked salmon as an entree (excellent), and the schnitzel as an entree. We all had the schnitzel: out of this world! So light. My friend had the strudel for dessert (very good) and I had the best dessert of the house: kaierschmarren. TRY IT!!!!”

“One of my fave spots on the UWS. The wine and the tapas are plentiful and scrumptious. Whether you pop in once a week or once a year, you are always made to feel like a regular. ♥️”

“Yutong is a fantastic Mandarin teacher! Over the last three years, I've worked with her to maintain and improve the standards of my business Mandarin, having previously learnt Mandarin as a second language from a young age. She has tailored the curriculum to focus on specific aspects that I've expressed that I would like to focus on, with great results. I thoroughly enjoy our lessons and look forward to continuing to progress my language skills with her over the years!”

“Customer service is key to any business. This past Saturday we view our family member. In the very beginning of our journey of getting a date & collecting money Franchy was the host who guide us. This Saturday, she was beyond great. Who ever did Our family member makeup and hair, did a horrible job. I would’ve given 3 star but my heart couldn’t. She offer to fix the makeup without no hesitation she did it. She offer to fix the hair but the makeup adjust was just perfect at the moment. Franchy is a true definition of a great customer service person ~ super professional, communication on point & best of all a person who has sympathy & empathy. Thank you so much for all your support. Ps: franchy is a great addition for your company. This is my first review even when using this establishment before. My apologies for grammatical error”

“I have to give it 5 stars. I mean, the collection is insane. This is on my top 3 museums globally. However, it is a lot. You will get super tired and spend a lot of time if you like art. I would recommend starting from up to down and taking a break to grab something to eat on the cafe or the rooftop. I was short in time so I did not do that and I was mentally exhausted by the time I left. The store is good but lacks a bit of variety in the cheap souvenirs. I am old fashioned in museums and would rather have a printed map. Global students pay half price ($14). Student ID is required but they did not look mine particularly. It was busy in a Tuesday so I can only imagine the weekend. Still completely comfortable to walk through and no line at any moment.”

“This was an amazing, if not slightly bizarre experience. We came here after seeing it was included on the New York pass. The place has a great explanation of history. There’s also a bar, cinema and loads of games to play, which I absolutely wasn’t expecting at all. It also has a really cool vibe generally and the staff are informative. I’d recommend this place. However, just be aware that the New York pass doesn’t cover playing the games.”

“Great Peruvian Mediterranean restaurant with good food, service and drinks. I've been here a few times in the past few years and it's had consistently great food and service. I always get the kebab- the lamb, steak/filet, and beef are all delicious! The kebabs come with your choice of grilled vegetables, rice, or French fries. We got all 3 and the veggies were my favorite 😍 the bread served with the babaganoush is delicious I love the outdoor seating next to the flowers 🌻”

“I really enjoy going to this black owned bookstore to buy books and their delectable oatmeal raisin cookies. I just wish they would have a label for the ingredients on the cookies, so that people who are allergic to certain food would know what's in the cookies.”

“Dr. Regis made my smile perfect, and helped me gain a lot of confidence! She guided me through my treatment, and made sure that I was comfortable every step of the way. I was initially dreading the thought of getting braces, but she made the process very easy for me. My treatment time ended up being half of what was expected! She's amazing at what she does, and she is very kind. I fully recommend her treatment to anyone considering it!”

“My experience with Money Management International, has been very positive. Good planning and organization. I have received very good guidance, advice and recommendations in a timely and professional manner in the preparation of applications, review of documents and communications with third parties. Verbal and written communication flows quickly. Your representative Carina Maron is intelligent, has strategic thinking, she knows the logistics of her business and works with order. She is respectful in her personal treatment and suggestions handling financial issues and communications with third parties. Until now, the proposed objectives have been achieved, and I am sure that with her support, I will solve the problems with the financial institutions. She knows her job, how to listen, is patient, is persistent, and she explains situations according to her long and varied experience and knowledge. She follows up on the status of my case and suggests new steps to take. I am very grateful for her input and feedback.”

“The place was packed with mostly Asians (students since it’s near Columbia?) on a midweek lunch. There is a reasonable lunch special ($10-11) that includes a 6oz soup. The Shredded Pork with Garlic Sauce was spicy (I asked for “a little spicier” in Chinese) and flavorful with the ‘right’ vegetables (bamboo shoots, onions carrots celery?, not whatever veg-on-sale that is a filler to make the dish look big) albeit more vinegary than I’m used to. The Fish fillet with Ginger and Scallions was tasty and the fish tender. Both with a good amount of sauce for the rice. The Sweet and Sour Soup was a little bland (not sour enough, not enough earthy mushroom taste) and spicy, but, was too gelatinous (too much corn starch) and tasted too much like chicken bouillon. I would return to try other dishes.”

“Really good dining experience! Expect to pay a lot of money, but it’s worth a trip for a special occasion. The food comes out super fast and hot, which we were all pleasantly surprised by. My favorite dishes: - fried tofu with black truffle. Definitely order this. The texture is silky inside but there’s a light truffle flavor and perfect crispy outside. - shrimp and walnuts: the table favorite (and also our server’s favorite dish they make, so you have all of our seals of approval). - the braised duck (appetizer) is also tender and flavorful and presented in a beautiful cage and it was eaten very fast. I will say while the meatballs in brown sauce is really good, the sauce is a little too salty. The sweet and sour pork is also okay, the sauce is overpowering and it’s not crispy if that’s the style you prefer. The other dishes we enjoyed were the jellyfish in vinegar (crunchy and refreshing), string beans (well seasoned), and cumin lamb (get your phones ready when they bring it over to get a photo of the fire). In all, everything is presented beautifully and I’d recommend coming here with many people and try everything banquet style!”
