“Not the best looking massage spa in the city, but not the worst either. I've been to worse. I wish they had a shower room for before and after, but that's a preference. As for the staff, very friendly staff. I tried to call to make an appointment but no one picked up, but I was close enough to just walk in. They were more than happy to take me in as a walk in. As for the massage, excellent! I didn't catch my masseuse name but she was a very nice Jamaican woman with great massage skills. She got all the knots I had on my back, shoulders and thighs from 2 strenuous days of physical activity. Will definitely come back. Hopefully the other masseuse are as good or even better. But I can't complain about my masseuse massage skills. I got what I came for which was a great massage. But they're not 24 hrs.”

“I have spent many a night at this little gem of a bar having had great wine, great conversation and in great company. It’s a neighborhood spot that welcomes folks from any and all neighborhoods. The bar staff are all top notch — knowledgeable, friendly, just the right amount of curious and fantastically interesting. You want to be left alone with your Sunday paper, ain’t no thang. You want to strike up a conversation with a (soon to be) new friend, you’re in the right place. Easy and chill without feeling too, well, easy and chill. It’s an every kinda night kinda place. Oh, and did I mention there’s popcorn? Yeah. Yeah, there is.”

“I have been seeing Dr Senkler for almost 5years for both my kids and I had a wonderful experience . She is proactive, caring and listen carefully. Never seen a doctor in rush in this practice, they always make sure the parents get enough time to ask questions. Best part is they are just an email away if concern is not worth a visit. Thank you Apple pediatrics !”

“I’ve been a dedicated patient of Dr Roksar for over 20 years. Dr Roksar is a very personable, friendly, down to earth, patient, professional, pleasant and just an overall amazing dentist. My dental experiences have always been satisfactory. Dr Roksar takes the time to listen intently to all concerns and addresses all of my questions and concerns. He always makes sure that I fully understand all procedures. Dr Roksar has helped me gain my self confidence back and I’m forever grateful. Dr Roksar does AMAZING work and I’m constantly receiving compliments on my teeth and my smile. Dr Roksar has done a few implants and several other procedures over the years and I have never had any complications or complaints. Dr Roksar’s staff are also very friendly, personable, helpful and knowledgeable. The entire dental practice is very clean and I’ve always felt safe, comfortable and relaxed. “I have been going out with Captain Tony for many years. A co worker introduced me to his service well over a decade ago and I have been a loyal customer ever since. It has become a tradition for me and my clients, and a great way to spend captive time with guests you want to really connect with in a fun and exciting environment. We go two or more times a year, Captain Tony is awesome. He makes sure everyone has a great time, provides stories, beer, and his wife's meatballs! We often catch a ton of fish as Tony knows all the spots and all the tricks, but even when its slow it is an amazing time. The boat is clean and safe and well equipped. I recommend a few good cigars, bring a playlist he can put on the stereo and get ready for a fantastic trip you or your guests won't forget.”

“One of the best hotels I've stayed at in NY. The street it's on is pretty safe, there aren't really people down there even late at night and there is an extremely well lit gas station right across the street. The room itself was massive for New York Standards on a budget. We were impressed. It was clean and all of the hotel staff we dealt with were extremely kind, quick and efficient! They held our luggage in a secure area while we went out on our last day. I highly recommend and will be back. Only thing I will say is I wouldn't explore the neighborhood even in broad daylight. This was the only place in New York where I've had people bother me and actually follow me and say things to me. Like I said the particular street it's on is safe but I would definitely explore downtown or other areas instead.”

“It’s not quite the South Texas Tex-Mex I grew up with but there is an authenticity to the flavors and preparation that put it head and shoulders above other Mexican spots around Manhattan. Don’t come here expecting beautiful decor - this is just simple good Mexican with great service and at reasonable prices. For that, I’ll return. Also, great selection of Mexican beers. It’s the first place in NY I’ve been that has Dos Equis Amber, my personal fave.”

“Re-opened and under new ownership, Arthur’s Tavern is better than ever! Ya might want to complain that the dive bar formerly known as Arthur’s Tavern is gone (you miss the dusty decorations, hitting your head when you sat down along the wall, going into the creepy leaky bathroom…)… but once you go, you’ll be incredibly surprised that the spruced up jazz room now known as Arthur’s Tavern is alive, comfortable, clean and friendly(!!) and probably closer to the 1937 version of the original Arthur’s Tavern!! The regular Sunday night band (every Sunday since the 1980’s) The Creole Cookin’ Jazz band is back (7p-10p)! The Monday night band, The Grove Street Stompers (playing every Monday since the ‘60-‘70’s!) are also back, 7p-10p! I spent a lot of time in the pre-pandemic Arthur’s (my trombone-playing dad-in-law has played in the Sunday night band since the 80’s!) and being there last night (Sunday 5/1/22) for the first time since the re-opening (April 29, 2022) I can tell you, there’s nothing I miss of the old Arthur’s. The new owners did a magnificent job of renovation/restoration. If you do miss the old Arthur’s, check out the photos, on the new walls, of the old dive. Dixieland Trad Jazz is here!”

“Success academy is great school. Not for everyone because parents are expected to be fully involved in their kid's day to day. If you want private school curriculum taught to your kids for free, send them here. They prepare your kids to be ready and successful for the real world. It's worth it!”
