“They have an amazing Vegan Belgian hot chocolate. Made with dark chocolate and oat milk. Vegan marshmallows optional as well.”

“We ordered an almond croissant and a raspberry chocolate croissant. Both were fresh, not too sweet, and very tasty. The latte and black tea were also great - it says tea forte, and they mean it, so if you’re British, you won’t be disappointed. The service was exceptional, and the lady who attended us went out of her way to accommodate us. If you haven’t been here, you are missing out!”

“One of the best cookies I’ve ever had. The cookies were warm and freshly made. The oatmeal raisin and the chocolate chip coconut cookie were both delicious. There was a lot of options you can pick from. Although the cookies seem pricier side for $5 each, the quality speaks for itself. I would totally come back again when I’m in NYC, highly recommend!”

“Amazing pastries! Usually, it's a long line but worth waiting and they attend super fast. Place is quite small and you can see a lot of students and people staying for long time. Taste the coffee too.”

“There was a line out the door to the sidewalk when we arrived. The smell of fresh baked cookies lured us into the shop and waiting in line was worth it. The chocolate peanut butter cookie just melted in my mouth. What a special, delicious little treat. The people in line were friendly, each talking about which flavor they were good to order. With almost 20 different options, everyone seemed to have a different favorite. Although a classic chocolate chip cookie seemed to be the consensus. I could feel the cookie anticipation!!! Delicious, you seriously have to try it for yourself 😊 🍪 🍪 🍪 🍪 🍪”

“The prosciutto sandwich, when toasted, perfectly melts in your mouth. It also took every ounce of my willpower (and my wife's adamant refusal) to not get the lemon bread. Its a breakfast/lunch staple that has not yet disappointed me.”

“I recently had the pleasure of visiting Valencia Bakery over the weekend, and I cannot speak highly enough about the exceptional customer service I received from Chris. From the moment I walked through the door, Chris's dedication, professionalism, and genuine warmth made my visit truly memorable. Their friendly nature, deep knowledge, and dedication to providing an exceptional experience left a lasting impression on me. I wholeheartedly recommend Chris and Valencia Bakery to anyone seeking not only delicious treats but also a remarkable customer service experience. They truly embody the essence of outstanding service and are a valuable asset to the bakery. While the customer service was exceptional, I found the cake to be slightly dry. However, it is important to note that despite this minor flaw, the flavor and quality of the cake were still enjoyable and it did not overshadow the positive aspects of my experience at Valencia Bakery. I would gladly return for their exceptional customer service and the overall quality of their products.”

“Best Dominican cake I have tried so far in Upper Manhattan. I do not care that they almost could not fit "Feliz cumpleaños" on it (they are probably used to writing Happy Birthday), it was delicious anyway. This was 1/2 lb, about 10-11 inches in diameter.”

“A lover of pastry dessert, yes I am! While visiting NYC off course I had to come to Dominique Ansel Bakery especially to try their famous Cronut. All of his desserts are made which such a detail not only in flavors but also how it is presented to you. How you will read the description it’s what it is portrayed to being served. Be aware this place gets super packed even before it is opened. People make lines at any season to buy his desserts; I know because I made a 20 minute line and it is because I went before they even opened but every single bite was so worth it! Oh yes my friend and I were sitting at their patio area at 8 am devouring many many desserts. There’s also a workshop store which I still need to visit on my next trip! Highly recommended!”

“I walked into Barachou a pastry shop off of Amsterdam between 81 and 82 today. It smelled incredible. I asked what was their favorite. The answer was lemon meringue cream puff. I like lemon so that was easy. It may be the best thing I have ever put in my mouth.”

“Not bad. Overall food was great. I ordered the steak and eggs. Medium rare and over medium. Both were overdone but the eggs were redone to my liking the second time around. Oysters and cocktails were on point. Would definitely revisit. Beautiful setting surrounded by high end retail and yachts!”

“The bagels are great! They are exactly what I needed! The cream cheese was on point. Pretty big variety of cream cheeses, sweet and savory. The lox was very good. This sliced, but a good amount. The coffee was good, nothing special. The staff is pretty basic, getting you in and out. But you can sit and eat, and it is definitely a good bagel. I would recommend it.”

“There so much I can say about this place and it still might not do it justice. I’ll start by saying the staff is beyond amazing. Their energy is one of a kind and super contagious. After a long day of work or a morning workout you feel welcomed and as part of the family. Their recommendations are on point based on your likes and what you’re in the mood for. Some even make things on the spot that become a hit within seconds. Their nutritional tips are also on point and have really helped me become more conscious about the choices I make. My favorite thing is how we have become instant friends. From asking about each others days to discussing how class was or even how the family is doing. The team has really become family and there is no price to that. I recommend this spot for first class nutritional tips and drinks, a workout to remember, and for some genuine good company. Lastly I will end by saying that my 9 year old niece has become a fanatic of the kids class offered and the pay day shake. She has genuinely enjoyed being around the staff. PS. If you haven’t tried Ana’s protein donuts you need to do ASAP. It will change your life FOREVER!”

“The Bourke street bakery is replacing PICCOLO cafe (the Piccolo sign is still up the wall). They have another Bourke street bakery on 28th street. Originally from Sidney, Australia, this is a charming bakery with gourmet coffee, bread and pastries. It reminds me more of a danish place than a French one, but great nonetheless. The sourdough and baguette are great. So are the croissants and sausage rolls. Nice Ambiance, the decor is simple and rustic, which gives it an additional charm. The staff is very nice.”

“El Chevere Cuchifrito is a small Spanish eatery in East Harlem, serving up meat over rice platters and a variety of fried foods. it’s a small space with stools at a counter—no tables inside but they do have tables outside rn. the space is pretty clean. the hot prepared foods are on display through a glass display. didn’t see any menus so basically you need to ask how much everything is. there’s a $5 minimum on debit/credit. stopped here and wanted some quick bites to go. got some bacalitos and papas rellenas. was totally satisfied as those fried eats hit the spot. the fried codfish was season well and the batter was crispy and yet soft on the inside. the papas rellenas was really good—fried potato ball stuffed with tasty season ground beef. perfect amount of food when you get those afternoon hunger pangs. the papas rellenas and bacalitos were ~ $2 each + tip. service is fine”

“So happy there’s a Milk bar near my neck of the woods! While it’s not the flagship (which is a must see location), it gets the job done. Milk serves you some of the best soft serve in the game. Make sure you try it and get the crunch topping. Game changer. I LIVE for their shakes. We often pop in and see what flavor they have since they are constantly getting new ones. Don’t sleep on the cookies and cakes too. This place is a NYC staple.”

“This was my first visit and I was so pleased. As soon as I walked up to the counter Dashawn was super friendly and helpful. He walked me through the menu, hooked me up with samples, and gave me his personal feedback to make sure I made the very best choice for me. Everything tasted fresh and yummy! I'm def making this a favorite location on my maps - must repeat!”

“This was my first time ordering from this place. I order it all the way from New York, i live in a different state. I was very exited to give a try. The cake arrived intact, and on time. I ordered the rainbow layers cake. It look cute and very clean. Perfectly made. I did however dislike the fact that it was small and pricey. Although most places have high prices now, it was worth it. The style, appearing is very mesmerizing. I think is totally worth it. For a special occasion.”

“I was throwing a baby shower for my sister and googled bakeries, after speaking to Frenchys I knew he was passionate about his craft and he was excited about helping me bring my vision to life. We had a long conversation about what I wanted then continued communicating through text. There was many varieties in the flavor selections and variety of desserts he was able to make. When his delivery driver couldn’t bring the cake he got an an Uber and brought the cake over himself. He set things up and it ended up being absolutely beautiful. Definitely recommend this bakery for your next event. Thank you Frenchy’s !”

“I found Dulceria among a list of 30 outstanding coffee shops in NYC. From Battery Park City, where I live, I took the trip to Harlem. Yes, the latte was delicious, the sweets were too, and the goat cheese empanada was huge and tasty. But above all, the staff, including the gentleman who is a co-owner, were very hospitable, making sure that I got what I wanted. Indeed, I did! Such a positive experience!”

“This is my morning coffee and bagel spot. Honestly it's the best quality in the area! I am always greeted with a smile and the coffee and breakfast items are fresh and really delicious. Today Steve went out of his way to take care of my order with kindness, warmth and courtesy, and I truly appreciate that since I worked in the food industry for years. Additionally, when Steve isn't around, the staff is still incredibly friendly, efficient and delivers excellent customer service to myself and those I see with me in the shop. Did I mention the everything bagels are seasoned on both sides?? Delicious!”

“Brooke goes above and beyond and was in our corner every step of the way. She made sure the home buying process was easy as could be for us (and fun!). We both feel as if we made a life long family friend and believe that anyone would be lucky to have her as a realtor! If you are looking for someone who will answer all your questions before you even ask, and who will personally do everything to make the home buying process easy, go with Brooke! We are so excited to move into our new home!”
