“The most accommodating and very reasonably priced. I’ve had very last second bridesmaid dresses to be hemmed and taken in for a bunch of weddings and they’ve always done an awesome job in a very timely fashion and in very short notice. I had a clasp issue and they fixed it by placing an extra clasp. I am a surgical resident and have a very tight schedule. They even stayed in the shop late when I was running late past their closing time and I called ahead. I’ve gotten very good comments as well. Very nice couple runs the place. Very friendly. Very good work. Would highly recommend over and over again.”

“Words cannot express the gratitude that my family and I have for Dr. Thorne. I found Dr. Thorne on the internet after searching for a doctor to perform an otoplasty on my son. From the moment I met Dr. Thorne, I knew he was the right doctor. I felt very comfortable with him. Dr. Thorne was respectful, calm, comforting, professional, caring and kind. He took the time to explain everything and showed us before and after photos of his previous patients. Dr. Thorne created two beautiful, perfect, natural-looking ears for my son. My son's ears not only were prominent, but they were different sizes and needed to be cut and reshaped to match each other. On the day of surgery I had no fears or worries at all. I knew my son was in excellent hands. While waiting in the waiting room, I meet a lovely lady who had work done with Dr. Thorne. She spoke very highly about Dr. Thorne's work he did on her and her granddaughter. After the surgery my son was so ecstatic along with our entire family. If anyone is in need of a plastic surgeon, please us Dr. Thorne. He is wonderful.”

“First time writing a Google review but wanted to spend some time sharing how awesome these guys are! I came across the shop a little over a month ago and spoke with Fallon on the phone, who was incredibly helpful and patient for someone with zero diving experience. After having a one-on-one with her in the store, I immediately felt comfortable that this was the right team that I wanted to do my open water training with and signed up for my pool sessions on the spot. Fallon, Ryan, Hailey, Mark, and the rest of the staff were extremely helpful in getting me set up with high quality gear from the get-go without also breaking the bank. I decided to purchase my own mask, snorkel, and fins on day one, with the option to come back and swap out any equipment that didn't fit well after the pool training sessions. Luckily, everything worked great and the pool trainings with Ryan were fantastic. The sessions were easy to schedule, and the facility was privately rented just for our group's pool dives. Ryan was patient, safety-focused, and overall a fantastic instructor. I had such a great experience that I decided to join the shop's weeklong Curacao trip to finish my open water diving certification without previously knowing any of the other divers, only knowing that Ryan was also running that trip. I just got back this past weekend and couldn't have had a better vacation. The trip was well-organized, the group was terrific, and the diving was incredible! In addition to finishing my SDI Open Water Scuba Diver certification, I also came back with specialties in Nitrox, Night Diving, and Underwater Navigation. Ryan was extremely attentive during all of our training and an all-around fun group leader/instructor. I'll definitely be going back with SCUBA Network NYC on future diving trips and additional certifications/equipment as I grow my SCUBA experience! Thanks again!”

I travel in from CT to the city to get my beard worked on, but it's been a while, because my old beard master jumped ship to another state during covid. I tried some other places and it wasn't what I was looking for. Luckily I found this spot, and 5 out of 5 stars. I gave Nelson a brief history of my beard and reference photos.
