Let me share a personal story, I had found Rock and Soul during the pandemic and my husband purchased for me my first DJ controller from them, it was truly amazing to get started on my DJ career and they give you all the right tools for getting you there. I was struggling emotionally with my outlook on music but Rock and Soul gives the support, friendship and help you need to thrive and there is truly a deep community feel among them, I cannot believe all the caring and support you get from them. They serve some of the biggest names in the business, like Kool Herc, Grandmaster Flash, Run from Run DMC, even members of Saturday night Live stop by for equipment so as an added perk you may even meet a celebrity while shopping there. DJs perform live sets during their featured record store days as well, so you can hear great live music sets while you shop. They carry some of the best and most reliable names in DJ equipment like Rane, Numark, Arturia etc. and will make sure your equipment works well and is shipped promptly and safely. They also carry all the best records with some of the best music worldwide! All these reasons and more are why I choose rock and soul whenever I’m in NYC! “My dinner group and I had such a great time at this place. It was a last-minute decision to go and we didn’t even look at the place before we went inside but it looks nice from the outside and once we got in it we saw that there was a large dining area but also cozy how is sitting with booths available. Which I thought was really interesting. The food was phenomenal and overall it was such a great find and a surprising one at that. I’m sure other people might’ve known about this place that we were so hungry after coming back from the Met and it was open late and that was the reason why we went in but it definitely made for a highlight of the evening. So great such a good cocktails and drinks as well. I will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!”

“My review is about this Historic building and it's visibility facing Chamber Street and nearby City Hall Park and Brooklyn Bridge. The occupying agencies are for another forum. The building is solid and well built and serves as shelter from rain, snow and wind which can be extreme at this juncture. Spring, Summer and Fall events are often offered, mostly free and entertaining. The CityStore is right next to the North Tower and sells interesting souvenirs, garments and publications ranging from NYPD to MTA. Worth visiting for gifts and Holiday presents.”

“The place has such a beautiful view of the city. It is hard not to fall in love with this place! The staff here has been always very courteous and friendly every time I come for a visit. Some of the times, I was running late and rushing to get in, the staff remained calm and helpful, giving me clear directions and assisting me with the check-in and crossing the clearance checkpoint. I love coming here!! A side bonus of this location is that Whole Foods is just in the basement, very easy to access to. It's a perfect place to go for shopping after a concert or getting something to eat while waiting for friends.”

“Everything was excellent. The execution in the kitchen couldn't have been better. The food is traditional French and it doesn't try to innovate, it simply nails what it sets out to do. The foie gras terrine was the best I ever had. The ambiance is fancy, with large mirrors, candelabra, and flower bouquets. The service couldn't be more on top of the table. I wasn't aware jackets were required, and they provided one with a smile. The prix fixe is a good deal with plenty of food, and very filling. Definitely fit for a grand celebration, but I'd say it's expensive otherwise.”

The building by itself is a great view in a great location. When it comes to life performances, there is definitely an extreme amount of talent and devotion all over the place. The operation of this spot as a venue is flawless, no problem getting in or finding seats and everyone on board is really nice. My only comment is towards the chairs, a place with its head as high as this one should really think on the comfort of the seating audience.”
