“Excellent cocktails. Delicious upscale pub food. I highly recommend the fried chicken sandwich and burger. Tomato soup is delightfully spicy & grilled cheese is a good one. Fantastic server. Be prepared to wait for a table. Good outdoor seating choice that aren't too plastic boxed in.”

“This is my 3rd natural beauty salon and I can finally say I’ve found a stylist. Before I talk about the great qualities, much must be said about the front desk and the miscommunication. I called 1 week prior to scheduling an appointment. I asked the receptionist to give me a moment as I wanted to read reviews to determine which hairdresser I will go with as this was my first time. I called her back about 5 minutes later and stated, “I will go with Miss Casey”. She corrected me and said “Casey is a man” which didn’t bother me one bit. I arrived 15 minutes ahead of time as I didn’t want to be late. I introduced myself and stated I was here for Casey. The receptionist immediately became confused and said I was booked with someone else. I insisted that is NOT who I asked for and I wanted Casey if possible. Casey overheard and walked over. He politely and generously apologized for the mixup and offered to start me but I had to wait as he already booked another woman under my time slot. The only issue with that was I had something scheduled after my hair appointment and couldn’t make it so I was quite frustrated. Now about Casey. What a wonderful stylist! He’s amazing. He was punctual (considering the e mix up). Directive with questions about my hair. Trimmed well. Fast and washed my hair so well while explaining what products he was using every step of the way. Casey I hope one day you open your own salon. You are destined for greatness As far as the front desk they need someone more mature and organized. Lastly, when I asked to speak to Casey the receptionist told me —- “no, the stylist don’t talk to customers.” I found this odd but went along with it. Had they allowed a conversation like I asked, perhaps we could have avoided this double booking and my disappointment that I had to wait to be seen although I was given a time slot. Overall I will return but it won’t be frequently.”

“I “discovered” Blue Ribbon just before Covid. Now that I’ve returned to visit the City, I have visited this restaurant several days in a row. I find the staff warm and inviting and they steer me to the specials which are in season and worth experiencing. I had Cherry Salmon, Butterfish and Japanese uni (my favorite). I let the sushi chef direct my selections and have been quite pleased. Insofar as price is concerned, fresh seafood is pricey. If it’s cheap, you should probably be concerned.”

“My church. If you want to know what the Bible says..this is the place for you! There are various ministries you may want to join, but for me I just want to continue to understand the bible and apply it to my everyday living. For those who want more there is more at St Luke. “I Love Dr. Adubor, not only he cares for you, he will sit down and talk with you. He show that he cares for his patients and will give you the best medical advice. There's some doctors up in CT especially when I go to emergency, Why do I have a doctor in NY and not in CT? The reason because I been with Dr. Adubor more than 10 years, and he knows my information. Plus I trust him and know that if I have a problem I could talk to him. It would be very hard for me to change doctor, so if I could travel to get to him I will.”

My God, 🤑”

“Courtney (I think her name was Courtney and I really hope so because she deserves the credit) was AMAZING. All the staff were cheery but she actually talked like a real person who was interested in what we were doing and HOOKED US UP tonight - every step of the way. She gave suggestions that we’d actually like and helped out my weird family with deciding specifics and requests. Food was awesome and came out super fast. Couldn’t finish even half a serving and boxes plus a bag for excess rolls came out in half a second. Amazing waitress. Amazing food. Perfect for everyone.”

“I haven't been back here since MOM brought the place and from the current reviews I was a little concerned but I did not have any problems. Not to invalidate anyone else's experience but perhaps they have ironed out what ever problem they were having prior since covid hit. I had a smooth check in, I had a smooth check out. My doctor was Dr.Kim and he was very patient and made sure I asked any and every question I may have had was answered (although I had none. It was pretty straight forward). So I may start returning to this location over 51st again”
