He passed away with the support from the kind care givers at Brookdale Niagara Memory Care and with Hospice Niagara. We spent a lot of time with Dad while in Brookdale's care. The attentive staff helped keep Dad engaged, well care for and happy. I know this kind of care is not easy to deliver and all of us are going through grieving while our family is still here. It is so hard. This place made it all so much easier handle.”

“My grandparents were very well cared for on the CARE/Dementia unit. The programming is wonderful, the staff genuinely cared for the residents. We had a concern here and there, but it was always addressed in a timely manner. Both cleaned their plates at meal time. Both passed away within the months of each other under Hospice care, my Gram on Jeannies unit. I can't say enough about the staff there either, excellent care and communication. These are difficult times in Healthcare.. rules are made for them by NYS and they did the best with what they were dealt. I also believe the family has responsibility too..visit (as allowed) , communicate concerns, don't look for perfection.. it doesn't exist. You don't get 1:1 care anywhere you go. I truly felt the Northgate staff genuinely tried their best, we didn't want to place them, but were very pleased with our choice.”
