Lucky Buck Fishing charters

Captain Buck did a great job with taking us out on the lake for a great day of fishing; and we were happy we had his knowledge and experience with this beautiful, clean lake. We caught 3 different kinds of fish, and all were delicious at dinner. We definitely recommend this charter and we are linking forward to coming back next year.

I have fished with guides in Alaska, Colorado, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Florida, Wyoming and Canada. Buck is one of the best guides I have ever fished with in my life long pursuit of the next thrill. Pick any metric for measuring a guides performance and Buck gets an A+. Buck knows the lake like a good surgeon knows anatomy. He has a great boat, the best gear, and over 20 years of experience. I highly recommend a day with Buck. I caught every species in the lake. My buddy caught a trophy size small mouth bass. If you don't go out with Buck on the Lake, you are making a mistake. Had a great day of fishing with my dad and Captain Buck on Skaneateles Lake. Not only does Captain Buck put you on fish, he is also a great teacher and truly knows the lake and fishery. We will definitely be fishing with him again in the future. We caught a wider variety of species including some nice Smallmouth bass, jumbo Yellow Perch, and Lake Trout.

I wish I could give Lucky Buck fishing charters 10 stars. Captain Bob was incredible putting us on a never ending amount of fish ( small mouth bass..Lake trout…rainbow trout…rock bass..perch …and even bullheads. He took my grandson and son in law under his wing and taught them the inside tips of catching different species. His stories were amazing. The day was perfect and I highly recommend his services to everyone looking for fun, knowledge and a great outdoor experience.I know we’ll be back.

I have been fishing with Captain Buck for several years now. We rent over the summer and our trip with Captain Buck is always one of the highlights. We had our first Walleye/Spring fishing trip this last weekend and we were not disappointed! We took home 45 fish (as seen in the photos). My 13 year old niece caught a 21" Small Mouth Bass weighing a whopping 5lb's! at the very end of the trip! Although we needed to release as it is not quite the season for Small Mouth we did have a tremendous Walleye dinner last night and now have an experience that will last a lifetime with my niece and my father.
