Orchard Rehabilitation and Nursing Center

I was an employee there, recently left. One CNA for 60 patients, staff is so scarce that lunch trays still in front of patients at supper time, as no staff to help feed or assist. Call lights not answered for more then an hour. Staff temperatures are taken, but the night I worked, nurse was coughing and visibly ill. Patients with temperatures moved then moved again before covid
Testing, patients with confirmed covid placed in rooms with patients still awaiting test results. Found 2 covid positive residents on a non covid hall.
Was full time employee and they forgot to sign me up for earned benefits.
Sad sad sad..... I am not a disgruntled employee, just clearing out up a painted picture.

The staff has gone above and beyond during my wife's rehab stay. Everyone was so caring about her, from the admissions and business offices, to dietary, to the doctors, nurses, LPN's, and CNA's.

The therapists worked miracles getting her up and around. She went from walking 5-10 steps when she got out of the hospital, to walking all over Orchard Manor (albeit aided by a walker) 4 months later. Her ankle brace could have arrived sooner, but that was something out of the therapists' control.

Food menu wasn't the best, but was tolerable.

All in all, it was a good place for her to get rehab after her serious illness.
