“Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Extremely good with animals and making them feel more comfortable in the stressful environment of any Veterinary Hospital. Not judgemental and clearly very devoted top the animals. Costs are fair, maybe a bit more pricey than some other places, but you get what you pay for. If you're looking for personalized, thorough exams from well qualified staff (as is offered here) than you're going to pay more than cut-rate clinics- a trade-off that is well worth it for anyone who truly cares about their pets (and honestly, for the quality of care, Mahopac Animal Hospital is a great deal.) I will be using them as my new go-to!”

“I can't express how much I love these people. My family has been going here with all our pets for over 30 years now. They are gentle, compassionate and thorough. Dr. Heiber is my absolute favorite. I can't thank her enough for everything she's done for our animals. When I got my Dog who came from a pretty bad situation before I got him she called to check up on him almost daily. (He's now a very happy healthy boy 3 years later ) She went over with us and taught us in detail how to give medicine to our older Dog, and was able to get a lethargic dog who was not eating to eat and drink IMMEDIATELY. I know it sounds crazy but it's almost like she communicates with them. Truly an amazing doctor. The Vet techs are amazing, and really ease even the most frightened animals stress making Vet visits a pleasant experience for them. Recently our beloved older dog passed away. They have been so supportive. They sent us flowers, and then a beautiful card and made a donation in her name for the national education for assistance dog services. There was nothing they could have done to save her, she passed before getting there, but the level of support they've given us really touched our family. I will recommend them over and over and my four legged family will always go to this Vet as long as we are in the area. Truly blessed to have them as a Vet.”
