Dr Koutelos in addition to being great in other ways has basically saved my life by heeding something in my heart rhythm during my routine physical exam. This unusual rhythm was known for a few years and may or may not have worsened, but Dr Koutelos was concerned enough to refer me for an echocardiogram that revealed serious valve and aortic aneurysm problems. He then researched and referred me to an excellent cardiac team at Columbia NYP in New York City, and was closely involved as my PCP and advisor during my subsequent evaluations by them. This resulted in my open heart surgery which went off very well. Dr Koutelos has also been very attentive to my other health issues and has an excellent team in his office. As a bonus, he is also very affable, approachable and a wonderful human being.”
