“It's all in the details. My stay at Camp Rockaway Fort Tilden was such a relaxing and refreshing experience. The tents were comfortable. The shower stalls were clean. Staff consistently tended to the bathroom facilities. Oh, and the staff (every single one) was helpful at every moment they needed to be. The camp manager was accommodating as can be. When she left a watering can on the porch of the tent so we could rinse the sand off our feet, I realized the love is in the details of the camp. I highly recommend a stay with these folks.”

“The people at the surf club may try and tell you this whole beach is private but don't listen--the Breezy Point Tip is part of the National Park and you have every right to be there. This place is a bit of a trek, but the beach is nice and the view is nicer.”

“For being so close to NYC, surprisingly, this park feels spacious and rural. With an unimpeded view towards the Atlantic, the waves crash down and spray mist along the coast. Watching the sunset, with relatively few visitors, and an open sky was a great respite from the hustle and bustle of NYC.”
