“Honest mechanics who will work with you on workarounds to fix a problem. I first used them 5-6 years ago when I missed an exit on the LIE and rolled into a ditch cracking my oil pan. My family mechanic wanted me to buy a rebuilt transmission despite no apparent damage there. Jay suggested a simple weld job. $800 weld vs $3,500-$4,500 new transmission?
