“A gold mine for those interested in local history and genealogy of Middle Village and the surrounding area. There's a lot of historical significance and it has several monuments related to New York City events such as the General Slocum disaster. A number of famous personages are interred here as well. It's a little disappointing that the farther reaches of the cemetery are not really maintained. Staff is fairly helpful.”
