“This place came through when I needed a shovel during the snow storm. I did see the other reviews and I can say the cashier I had didn't have a mask but at least I had two masks and I kept my distance and wear glasses so I should be okay. She should wear a mask though. The guy who greeted me did have a mask though and he was very knowledgeable. I told him I need a shovel that would work best for me since I do not want to lift too much. I brought that and a lightweight ice pick. Mid range in price but these were high quality products and it is from a small business, which I love. I also had a great interaction on the phone with the guy who picked up the phone and who told me the store hours and what they had in inventory. I now have a go to hardware store even if it is a bus ride away for me. They also have Purell products not marked up in price, Lysol wipes, and much more. I also like that it is also off the A train too. Check this place out and buy local!”

“This was my first time visiting them because my female cat needed to be sprayed. I had to leave her in the morning and then pick her up at 4pm. Everyone seemed very nice and knowledgeable and answered all my questions. The next morning Sundown (my cat) got her cone off and my son called them and they told us what to do, I expect to visit them again one day”

“They're cool people who work here and I've never had an issue here. They look a bit understaffed actually. No one has ever been rude to me and I've been serviced by all the people there. I wouldn't come at the workers there, the higher ups for sure. They deserve more for their hard work. I think most people are impatient when they have long lines and forget to realize that there is sometimes only 2 people working (I've witness that a few times) They deserve their breaks, and more staff. If you're truly that mad, write to the higher ups. Better quality work comes from treating people who work there right, management.”

“We used to live a block away from this store 11 years ago. I purchased a lot of things from this store that I still have 11 years later. I decided to re visit the store since they had an eye catching Christmas display. I absolutely loved going back after all these years. Prices are still reasonable and merchandise is good. I liked the fact their Christmas decorations were color coordinated. I found a lot of odds and ends things I needed. My cashier was very friendly. I was a little shocked when she said happy holidays and was in a very cheerful mood. Nowadays you don’t find people like her. I still remember her working there 11 years ago. I didn’t tell her I remember her since she didn’t recognize me. My shopping experience was great. Keep up the good work!!!”
