“5/5 stars for Parsons Preschool of Woodhaven! Everyone from the school director, receptionist, teachers and all other staff members are always so welcoming and friendly. You can tell they really care and love their students. It was so amazing to watch my son grow with them for 3K and Pre-K. My son graduated today and it was the cutest most wholesome graduation ever! I definitely recommend Parsons pre school!”

“When The word Teacher is not enough to describe the professionalism, integrity, love, dedication and extremely hard work, applies to all this amazing team, leaded by an outstanding Director: Mrs. Jeanine.”

“Best middle school in the area. Awesome staff. Love the diversity of students, teachers and staff. They really care about the kids getting better, they help them improve. It’s crowded, unfortunately it’s not that big. But they keep it organize, and safe. So happy my kids go to this school.”

“My son Joshua graduated from COVO in June and him attending this school was one of the best things that could have happened. The teachers and principal are outstanding. The teachers remain afterschool to assist students, they would even give up their lunch time to help him and other students if they needed extra assistance. They have many extracurricular activities and by 7th grade they were taking the kids on trips to different colleges. They are preparing future leaders in this school. The faculty treated my child like a human being, he knows that he can talk to the teacher or the principal if something is bothering him. They are respectful and professional. My daughter will be attending in the fall and she is looking forwarding to joining covo. Ashlyn”

“Lessons with Ian are always an engaging, fully musical experience. His deep level of knowledge regarding the bass and real-world experience allow him insight towards teaching a variety of genres. After studying with him, I can certainly say that how I practice music within my own process has improved considerably. Highly recommended!”

“My experience at Tribeca was amazing. I decided to go to Tribeca after several weeks of researching best schools in NYC. I decided on Tribeca because of the caliber of talent/education, proximity to my apartment, and general preparedness after school. I was able to complete the program within 6 months. Looking back, I really think I've improved my craft, largely in part to the Educators and folks in charge. I'm excited to begin my career as a barber in the best city in the world. I wouldn't have changed a thing.”

“I went there from 2008-2012. Toward the ending part of my high school career the school started to improve. However, it was still very disorganized and the staff was all over the place. Hoodlums did not attend class but showed up for the last marking period everyday and got a 65 and graduated. Not fair to those of us who worked hard to graduate. The school needs to be stricter about grading policies and make it difficult for kids to pass so easily. Anyway, let me talk about the people there. I was in the Law Program, which was incredibly beneficial. Also I heard the Business Enterprises program was really good. Choose one of those two for your program and you will be fine. You will have hard workers in your classes and not slackers. Avoid the other programs because that is where the slackers apply in order to pass with minimal effort and to cause trouble. Overall, this school is O.K in my book.”

“My son who has a speech delay is currently enrolled in this school. My son’s teacher is one of the best teachers plus her teacher assistants are always there to make my son feel comfortable. The teacher knows that my son is a child with a disability but that does not stop her from caring and putting all her effort to keep him learning. From when my son started last school year he has advanced so much and it’s thanks to the staff and his teacher’s. The school itself has continued to provide all the resources they can to help our children with disabilities and the different therapies has also helped my son thrive. The school is always making sure you as the parents are involved as much as possible to help give you the resources that will provide the best opportunities for your children to have a better future. If you are looking into giving this school a try I would 100% recommend.”

“I love Alicia and her yoga studio! It is so cozy and clean and right in my condo building! There are not as many classes as other yoga mills but they offer enough during the week to keep you busy. Alicia is energetic, informative and caring for your needs and conditions. I am so happy she can adjust her class to suit my pregnancy. The studio itself is not very big but it is perfect for less than 10 people. There is no hot sweaty yogies here so it does not reek off BO. Perfect studio for some quiet, peaceful and loving yoga!”

“I have been a member of 295 for the better part of a decade and I can assure that it has been one of the best experiences I will eve have. I've grown up here, made many friends and met family. Anyone who is blessed enough to be a part of this cozy little family should never take advantage. It is not only brimming with quality educational exposure but the utmost moral and order. Events like No-Name-Calling week, Respect for All week, and Bully Prevention month, students are kept in tact and are taught memorable values that shall stay with them forever. If you have the choice, send your child to 295!”

“I can not say enough good things about All My Stars / Gan Yaffa. I have been blessed to have all 4 of my kids attend (2 are still their). The love that my kids receive/ received from these amazing Morahs is incredible. They really do an outstanding job teaching while still giving each child love and attention. When my kids come home they are always excited to tell me about their day and what they learnt and what they did (even my 2 year old !) I would never dream of having my kids anyplace else! Thank you Yaffa and all the Morahs !!! UPDATE My youngest son has just "graduated" and will be moving on to elementary school. I can not Express the sadness I have knowing we wont be going back in September and seeing all the amazing smiling faces that have become apart of our family. We will forever consider ALL the staff and Morahs at All My Stars family. We are truly grateful and blessed to have had such amazing amazing teachers for the last 10 years !!!! (Wow, my babies are growing up way to fast ) We love you all”

“I've been going to Sacred Space's yoga classes for almost a year now. I have also attended some of their workshops (Past Life Regression, Intuitive Development) and been in one of their Full Moon Meditation Reflections sessions. Sacred Space has amazing yoga instructors- Jen SM, Jen N, Ana, Alex and more. I enjoyed all of my vinyasa yoga classes and workshops. 100%. The space almost always exudes of peace and serenity. It's like there is always something to discover there, except it is the same space and it is just me who is changing. I have gotten a lot stronger through the yoga classes and I was able to explore and play with my intuition and inner wisdom at their workshops. I have not spent this much money on my own personal and physical development before, but I don't regret it at all! (Some of their workshops seem expensive at first, but I feel it is worth it.) The classes and workshops at Sacred Space just speak to me at a fundamental level at this point in my life that attending them is irresistible. Sacred Space is the best thing I've found since moving to Astoria.”
