“The owners treat everyone with kindness. They make classic sandwiches to order, but also have some surprise menu additions posted by the counter. The convenience section is great - it has the perfect bodega hodgepodge of everything you might want. They also have a selection of imported snacks facing the far wall from the door. They have high quality eggs and milk. The one thing I would change is the beer selection. I'd like to see less random lager brands and more specialty ales. They have Bell's two hearted, so ordering some Bell's seasonals would be an instant improvement to the selection. Simple love is a special place. They're my go to sandwich stop, and I hope they become yours as well.”

“Not sure why this place has lower than 4 stars. People should be comparing it to other delis, not to the 3x as pricey restaurants they eat at. They do a really good job here at implementing NY cuisine with faux meats. I’m a huge fan of vegan proteins in general and think they nailed how to cook the chik’n. Haven’t tried their impossible/beyond burger. The seitan could’ve been seasoned more and cooked longer tbh. The tofu scramble part of the sandwiches was also cooked with proper seasonings. Great place to get vegan/vegetarian food. I wouldn’t recommend delivery unless you’re gonna eat it immediately: the sandwich can get soggy from the sauce.”

“WiFi Password: Wingtips1 Aesthetically, this is a nice lounge. Huge class windows and bright, vibrant seating covers the entire lounge. There is an abundance of free alcohol that you can serve yourself. They have a few coffee machines and a self serve water/sparkling water tap. Cans of sodas are available as well. The food itself lacks a little. They had hashbrowns and eggs for breakfast in addition to cereals and breads. It would have been nice to have something else like pancakes available. The abundance of seating makes it easy to have your own table.”

“Beautiful little park by the water that’s super clean! It’s really nice walk with some small cherry blossom trees. It has a nice walking path, playground, basketball court, and dog park. There’s also some planted flowers that add a nice touch. The view of Manhattan and the bridge from here is absolutely stunning. There’s a bunch of food trucks as well along the park on the street side so you can grab a snack. There was a good amount of people there this Friday afternoon but didn’t feel crowded. It’s a nice spot to come relax and enjoy LIC and admire Manhattan & city life. There’s good restaurants too nearby as well as a good bakery. Definitely worth a visit 😎”

“I would like to say BIG THANK YOU to the entire staff of Brookhaven Skilled Nursing Facility. My dad is Russian speaking elderly man who has Dementia. He feels very comfortable living in Brookhaven facility. All workers very polite, they take their time to listen to my dad, and trying to understand his needs. Eventhough I understand it is not easy, and I'm sure they have many residents to take care of. But every time I visit him. I see happiness in his eyes, and really appreciate to all the staff. Also I should say it is very easy to get any needed personal on the phone. The nurses, Social Workers and other disciplines contact family on a weeekly basis to update with the clinical status of their residence. You are guys the best, you are real people with the real heart ❤️. Thank you so much. May God bless all of you.”
