“Stopped in today to check out an instrument I saw on their website. Really good inventory at fair prices, and a nice old school guitar shop feel. John was friendly, easy to work with and very helpful. Gave me a great price on an instrument I had brought with me, and i got a sweet new bass.”

“This is by far one of the best vinyl stores in the area. They have a variety of selections (I have gotten disco, pop, jazz, metal, and beyond) and the prices can't be beat. I have never seen a record here that felt unfairly priced (a lot of places will up-charge just based on popularity, they don't). And most of all, Jim is just the nicest guy, easy to talk to and great for suggestions. So happy to have this staple in my neighborhood!”

“We called to have our gas fireplace cleaned and maintained. Scheduling was a breeze and I even received a phone call to see if I wanted to bump my time slot up. Anthony came out to check our unit and clean it. He was very respectful of our home and very kind to our very interested toddler. He answered all our questions and showed us how to light the fire in a power outage. Originally we were expecting to replace a sensor and remote system. Anthony was able to repair what we had. In a world where he could have easily said nope it’s broken you need to replace it, he took the time and effort to fix it and saved us some money. We will definitely call back and plan to continue regular maintenance with the company. Thanks so much!”

“It takes a lot for me to write a review. We get bombarded with businesses requesting a review so I rarely do it and when I do I want it to mean something. We stumbled across Lightexture when looking for a unique fixture above the dining table in our newly renovated kitchen. We fell in love with the Double Cut Boomerang as the shades reminded me of buffalo weaver birds nest I see all the time when in Africa for my safari company. It is the perfect fixture for us. But that is not enough to write a review. Unfortunately when the fixture arrived one of the shades had broken in transit. Our electrician was on a tight schedule and could not finish the job until we had the shade. We reached out to Avner Ben Natan at Lightexture and explained the situation. The next day a replacement shade was on its way to us and arrived in time to finish the job. He also provided directions on how to properly replace. So rarely do you find customer service like that. It was a joy to work with Avner and Lightexture as their pieces are not only unique and beautiful but they have great customer service and support. I cannot recommend them highly enough.”

“Customer service here is amazing. The owner reached out to me personally to make sure I was taken care of. I am mostly self taught in playing bagpipes so I was nervous about making such a big purchase as a novice. Yet, I am now completely confident that I can have any questions answered by the team at piper dojo. They also have a ton of tutorials and training resources (some free and some paid) and from what I’ve experienced they create excellent content. Especially if you are mostly self taught like me. Thanks again and I will be a returning customer”

“Elite design was recommended to us by a friend and I am so glad it was! We priced our quartz at Home Depot as well, and they were much more expensive, and much less helpful. Kristine was in touch with me the whole time, they got a templater out in a few days and we had new stone in less than two weeks. It looks great, you can barely see the seams, and they were on time and professional for the install. Elite Design didn’t nickel and dime us, they gave us a quote and stuck to it. I’m very grateful for a speedy, straightforward experience. Few things about our remodel have been this simple!”

“MKC Kitchens did an outstanding job with our kitchen redesign. I can't speak highly enough of their professionalism, creativity and attention to detail. They were with us every step of the way, from planning to completion, and always exceeded our expectations. Pam helped me make many decisions and made the whole process incredibly easy and pleasant. I am so grateful to her for taking my vague ideas and turning them into my dream kitchen. I highly recommend them.”

“So many incredible antiques from a wide variety of time periods. Their mid-century modern and 60's retro collection is excellent! Saw this beautiful Simmons' Furniture dresser by Bel Geddes in the window today.”

“Great selection. Shop is very clean and all vinyl looks to be very well maintained, cleaned, and organized. The guys who run the shop are super knowledgeable, and it's a great local shop selling quality vinyl. Mainly specializing in rock, classics and newer, but do have some selection of most genres. The also have some baisc gear for sale, and have additional formats of music but in limited quantites. Will definitely be returning to dig some more!”

“I am a violinist. The shop is in a nice part of town and has a pleasant feel. Instruments of all kinds all around. The shop owner was super nice and helpful. Her knowledge was impressive. I went there to get a new chin rest and she brought out a few different kinds for me to try. The prices are agreeable and it was a pleasant experience. My violin’s varnish was messed up where my old chin rest was and she patched it up for free. When I asked for a tool to change my chin rests out she gave that to me for free as well. Great place to get student to advanced instruments and options range from around $200 to $4,000+. I would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a new string instrument or accessories, repair of an older one, or even to talk. Great time!”

“14/10 recommend!!! Joe and his team are amazing. He was able to accommodate a special request with less than a day’s notice for which I am so grateful. I am notoriously “picky” and they managed to exceed my expectations. Prompt, professional, and very easy to work with. Oh… and my floors are absolutely stunning. Prices are unbeatable for such high quality work. So pleased. Thanks Joe!!!!”

“Troy Music Academy is amazing. The teachers are all excellent musicians and invested in developing and encouraging their students. My two daughters have been taking lessons here for a few years now and I’m so glad they have these wonderful musical role models in their lives! The teachers also quickly adapted to virtual lessons due to COVID so that lessons could continue safely!”

“I was looking for a warm cardigan sweater for my mom's 100th birthday. To my delight I they had exactly what I wanted, and they had it shipped immediately. My mom was totally delighted, not only at the warmth but the beauty of the sweater itself. I would recommend Counties of Ireland to anyone seeking high quality items at reasonable prices! Fantastic people.”

“The Christmas concert yesterday was beautiful, deeply moving, as well as being fun! My husband and I enjoyed every single note. I loved hearing carols that are not generally available. “Christmas at Sea” was incredible. Gorgeous music, and a story of such heartbreaking sadness. The reader brought it to life. The entire show sparkled!”

“A charming store of locally crafted goods and a curated selection of imports. Family owned and operated which is represented by the friendly and warm atmosphere. The woman at the store had encyclopedic knowledge of everything in the store showing the care and attention she and her family have put into what they stock. I found a fun gift for a friend and a nice picnic basket for myself, but have plans to go back when some friends' birthdays come up. Definitely an essential stop for shoppers in the area!”
