Andrew’s Diner

Andrew's Diner is a premium diner my Uncle recommended me years ago. I used to go there all the time with my late mother. It had a nice atmosphere and I cherished all the time I spent with family here.

As for the diner itself, Andrew's Diner has many good options. My usual choices at any diner: Fries, chicken tenders, pickles and onions are all good here. Besides that, the turkey burger isn't too bad either. My uncle specifically recommended me the turkey burger when I went there with him and my cousin once. Their breakfast is pretty good also. I remember their orange juice being a bit expensive yet fresh and delicious. The pancakes they served were tasty and titanic. They have decent bacon here too. The water with lemon is very good but I add the caveat that I got immense chest pain once from having it, presumably because I ingested a seed from the lemon by accident. On average, I would rate Andrew's Diner as having food better than most diners on Staten Island.

The only pain of coming here is that parking is slightly difficult to come by, being right on Hylan Boulevard in a very limited parking lot that's competing with other businesses, there's a lot that can go wrong when it comes to parking.

Nonetheless, I would say that Andrew's Diner is a premium diner on Staten Island with very good food that I could easily recommend to anyone.

This is hands down the best diner around. Every item on the menu is absolutely delicious. From food quality to portion size to price, this place is all around great. French onion soup is one of the best I’ve had, has so much flavor. Owner and staff very friendly and accommodating. Definitely recommend!

Nov 1st. It’s a Staten Island staple and never misses on a meal. The selections are broad and fresh and fabulous every time. Went most recently for breakfast - high marks for perfectly cooked over easy eggs, huge pancakes and crispy delicious bacon.

Dec 28. Breakfast again - big portions on the breakfast specials but today I found the eggs Benedict disappointing. Over easy eggs and bacon for my husband were spot on, as was the coffee - yum.
I’ve had the pastrami here for lunch, which was amazing - really, really great.

Normal diner and experience. The service was excellent, the food tasty. My pastrami was piled high, the way pastrami was meant to be! My friend's meal was so totally covered with you couldn't tell what he was having. And that is not a complaint, it's a compliment.
