“Amazing Anniversary dinner! Started with the best ever dirty martini. We had the fish salad and grilled calamari appetizers. For dinner, my husband had the scallops with crab meat risotto, and I had the eggplant special with homemade rigatoni and burrata. For dessert, we shared the Italian cheesecake. “Nov 1st. It’s a Staten Island staple and never misses on a meal. The selections are broad and fresh and fabulous every time. Went most recently for breakfast - high marks for perfectly cooked over easy eggs, huge pancakes and crispy delicious bacon. Dec 28. Breakfast again - big portions on the breakfast specials but today I found the eggs Benedict disappointing. Over easy eggs and bacon for my husband were spot on, as was the coffee - yum. I’ve had the pastrami here for lunch, which was amazing - really, really great.”

“Being from Chennai, I've always loved kothu parotta. I've known it is famous in Sri Lanka, but never had the chance to taste it as part of Sri Lankan cuisine until now. The Cheese Kothu was great. The owner of the store was a nice person who loves sharing his story and was very kind enough to make sure we like what we're eating and suggested different sides. They also had many srilankan groceries that were worth learning and browsing. The journey to Staten Island was long and Staten Island looks very deserted and weird but the food was worth it.”

Ordered the 'rainbow cookie' milkshake which according to the menu was supposed to have vanilla, chocolate and strawberry ice cream, and rainbow cookie pieces inside. Instead I got a strawberry milkshake, and not even a good one. It had way too much milk in it, not enough ice cream. This was my only bad experience really. Otherwise I got the tortellini Mac n cheese appetizer which i split with someone and it was really good, but extremely filling. So when I got my main course (the Matrix burger with a beyond burger patty) I could barely eat it. My eyes are always bigger than my stomach, sadly. 🥲 Gave 4 stars for the $12 bad strawberry shake but I'd definitely come back to try other things on the menu.”

“Well ok, this place in Staten Island is a fancy restaurant and is a great place to eat if you want good food and a nice place to eat. Seems like they even have weddings at this place. I was there with family end of December in the afternoon. Food was great and they have many different culturally diverse dishes but Middle Eastern food is their concentration but yummy food after all. Overall, was a great place to eat and price may seem high but you don’t eat here every day so it’s worthwhile. Definitely try their Dolma which is the stuffed grape leaves. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone at least once.”

“I've personally never had an issue at Empire Szechuan, I personally think that the food is better than any of the other places I've really ordered from (ex: Chopsticks). One noticeable difference is when I order sesame chicken from Chopsticks they usually have rubbery chicken but when I ordered from Empire Szechuan they had some of the most tender chicken I've ever had from takeout at pretty much the same price, I definitely recommend. A lot of people complain about the prices but honestly it's pretty much the same as most other Chinese takeout places, we're living in New York, everything is overpriced.”

“So Happy we tried this ! Our new "Go to" for pizza. Mama Mia's is Delicious !! Stopped by yesterday, for a slice of "Honey White Pie" and order a "Grandma Pie" for home. Both were absolutely perfect and delicious! We ended up ordering again today ! We ordered the" Honey Pie" and a "Margherita w/sausage" Both came Quick, Hot and Amazing...
