“Thank you for making my mother’s birthday cake the most beautiful and best ice cream cake we’ve ever had. They put an abundance of buttercream flowers just as we liked it. The portrait of my mother was exactly like the picture. The ice cream was sooo creamy and delicious: cookie dough and cookies and cream. I honestly think it’s the best ice cream I’ve ever had. I also love the fact that it has layers of cake with the ice cream. You don’t find this anywhere. There was a minor typo that the courteous owner helped us with a credit for our future purchase- this is a quality businessman with integrity. I’ll always recommend you!”

“I catered a breakfast for my daughters bridal party. Platters went to the bridesmaids and another to the grooms house. We had bagel with cream cheese spreads and a platter of muffins ; donuts; croissants etc. Everything was perfect and fresh and dealing with the owner Mike was a pleasure! I highly recommend this place. The best bagels on Staten Island and the jelly donuts were oozing with jelly!”

“Best. Bagels. Ever. Three and a half years ago we moved to a condo about a mile away from these bagels. We soon discovered Heartland bagels and now we know what bagels are supposed to taste like. We’ve tried every kind they make. They’re all fantastic. Great crust. Soft delicious insides. My personal faves are sesame and cinnamon raisin. Husband loves the everything bagels. They also have a variety of cream cheeses, and lovely lox, cookies and chocolate babka and more. We bring them to relatives in San Diego and Newport RI and anywhere else where they can’t get real New York bagels. Company at our place get bagels and lox for breakfast and go home with bags full of their faves. We’re moving to Philly soon - What will Xmas morning be without Heartland Bagels? ???? Sunday mornings there can be looong lines, but I promise you it’s worth it. Have to admit I’ve never tried the coffee - it’s all about the bagels!”

“Friendly, good service, great food, always fresh and just how you like it. Great place for sweets too. Minor things will bother you but they are seriously minor. You're going to wait a little for your yummy goodness because you can't rush perfection. The staff could be a little more specific to ask you what type of milk you would like in your coffee but at times just make it and given the line and the wait, don't worry just enjoy it, because anyway you slice it, its going to be good anyway and its good to climb out of your nest of the usual. The cooking stations don't have good ventilation, even with the door opened, so just be prepared to continue smelling like what's been cooking and if anyone asks you say yes, you just got done cooking breakfast for friends or family. Seriously though, if you honestly have anything negative to say about this little gem on the island, shame on you. Nothing in life is perfect but these guys do their best to come very close. Make the trip, park your car and come in with a smile and enjoy because these awesome people are seriously Not Just Bagels... ❤ Special Note: Thanks to the staff for always taming my growling stomach.
