“Calvary Chapel is a place you don't want to leave when service is over. You get a little glimpse of what Heaven would be like. It is a place where you have plenty of opportunities to Grow, as you get Sound Doctrine. A place where Pastor Dave equips us and provides the necessary tools needed to carry out the teachings of the Cross and God's Great Commission. I Love my Church, My Pastor and My Brothers and Sisters in Christ. If you want to get a taste of what Heaven is like? Come on over to Calvary Chapel, it is the place where you will Grow to learn how to become a Disciple of Christ to Spread His Good News to all the Nations!”

“I Worship here and the Fellowship is awesome always greeted with a warm hug or hand shake each person get at least 12 brotherly love hugs and kisses at greeting time. There's always something to munch on at lunch time provided by the hospitality team. Our Worship services is not always the best but there's something for everyone. My favorite things are Children story time, Sabbath School and Greeting time. Bible study is a open forum everyone gets to participate in dividing the Word so is Sabbath School. Come see us I promise you will love us”

“Absolutely amazing place with amazing individuals running it. They have people head out doing volunteer work in the St George community on Monday evenings, around 615pm sometimes around 7pm, they park in between the Richmond hotel and project hospitality and hand out brown bag dinners, in these brutal cold winter months, when they can, when resources allot, they hand out socks, shaving utilities, shampoos, deodorants, soaps, other shower utilities, blankets, jackets, gloves, hand and foot warmers. On cold nights they've served hot chocolate. That's not all, on Tuesdays and Fridays they have a food pantry around 11am, and on Fridays In connection with Community Health Action of Staten Island, upstairs, on location, from 11am to 12pm they hold a Harm Reduction group, which is a mixture most weeks of addicts both in recovery, and still sick and suffering, to help them with safer practices to provide them resources to partake in less risk for themselves, their health, and the community as a whole. Amazing group of people here.”

“My wife and I recently moved to Staten Island and needed to find a church. Bethel was the first church we attended as my wife had been a member of an evangelical church. I am completely satisfied by the spiritual growth in the both of us. In the service the Word is always taught with humility completely devoid of showmanship or arrogance. But this does not mean we are not challenged to align our lives with God's will. We would not have grown if that were the case. There is also a lot of praise in the form of singing. Everyone can participate in every song. We are not observers of praising but active participants. There is also ample opportunity to study the Word in fellowship with other members. There are men's and women's bible studies with weeknight and weekend studies. There are also other opportunities to live out our faith especially in evangelizing. Bethel has been a good Shepard to growing my faith in God through Christ. I invite anyone from any background who seeks a deeper relationship with God to attend.”

“It's definitely a beautiful church!!! Everyone there gives it a cozy and loving atmosphere. Fr. Michael is a great priest and gives meaningful homilies that are relevant, while also occasionally adding a touch of humor. Fr. Matthew sends great messages in his homilies that address today's world. God Bless this church.”
