“INTEGRITY and FAST!! It is so hard to find a good contractor these days that can respond to your needs in a timely manner, but Daryl Menton, the owner who answered the phone did that and much more. I needed some mold removal and repair in my basement and Daryl and his team came to my rescue. Daryl made an appointment for the estimate around my busy schedule and had his crew out within a week after we agreed upon the price and the scope of the work. His crew was very friendly, polite and professional. They were very careful not to track anything around the house on a wet, soggy day. It turned out that the damage was not as extensive as thought and they did not need to replace any studs or joists. Even though I was supplying the lumber to help reduce the cost of the job, when the crew called in to report the job details, Daryl instructed them to take $300 off the price. Can you imagine anyone voluntarily reducing the price on a job?? If you need restoration work done in the Capital District you must call or email Daryl and Restoration 1 of the Capital District FIRST!!”

“Kulak’s is amazing in so many ways. First and foremost, their staff are all friendly and so helpful. If you’re looking to landscape your yard, they will help you pick out all the plants and bushes/trees and even lay them all out for you to see how it would look. They’re super honest about what will work well in your space and not just trying to sell you the most expensive thing. Yes the prices are more than a big box store, but you’d never get that kind of customer service there and the plants are better quality here. Their mulch, soil, and rock pricing is very reasonable. The only downside is if you need various combinations of these in bulk, you have to get each delivered at a different time and with a separate delivery charge since they don’t have dividers in the truck. It is still worth it since the price is great for the bulk landscape materials. The delivery guys are very fast, efficient, and friendly. Really this place is amazing all around.”
