“This review is long overdue! My golden retriever attended a 5 week board and train back in the summer of 2021, and I recently returned for a couple of tune up sessions and a group class. When I left my dog at the facility 3 years ago, I had high hopes the trainers would take all my concerns with a high energy, impulsive puppy and turn him into a controlled, well mannered, respectful dog that could eventually walk off leash. Picking him up after 5 arduous weeks of my own separation anxiety, I was met with the same joyful, happy go lucky pup that I started with, but with an obedience that appeared almost magical. The lead trainer Zach walked me through everything they worked on with my dog and showed me how to continue his education and training, with the proper techniques to set me up for success. I left feeling confident and ecstatic that my dog had transformed into the dog I always dreamed of. Although the training never stops and the responsibility falls to the owner to uphold their obedience, three years later I found myself struggling to keep my dog at 100% compliance. As UCA provides a lifetime of "tune up" sessions as part of their board and train package, I decided it was time to take them up on that offer. As I live three hours away, it was not a trip I would be making often. But man was it worth it! Julia and the rest of the staff welcomed us with open arms and we immediately got to work. Within five minutes it was obvious that the techniques and training methods used are incredibly impactful and drive results. My dog transformed once again right before my eyes. I cannot thank Julia enough for being so patient with us, answering all of our questions, and leaving us with full confidence to address and correct the issues that arose over time due to owner error. My only regret is that I didn't make the trip back there sooner! We will have to visit again simply to say hello because what a joy it was to be around such incredibly caring, knowledgeable, and inspiring dog educators! “- did not receive an email confirmation of appointment - disabled parking is quite a distance from the entrance - there is no restroom for customers, they must go outside and walk a good way outside to the mall entrance, an onerous distance in bad weather if using the accessible ramp. The mall restroom was small and not in good order. - the check-in person was not very courteous and didn't explain how persons with an appointment are prioritized vs walk-ins (and I saw no signs they were, despite what's stated on the website) - wait with an appointment was approximately 40 minutes + the waiting area is pleasant and feels calm, with adequate seating and clear electronic signage and notification chimes + the person who processed my transaction was friendly, professional, competent, and explained the remainder of the process well”

Speaking of the shop itself, it is many beautiful artifacts from the Himalayas, India, and other regions of spiritual purity and it has genuine products that are not, as far as I can see, made using slave labor or evil. It has clear genuine ringing bowls, which can last like a minute of pure spiritual wonder than even a child will vibe with and understand. It has excellent, well priced incense and other products, and herbs that are used in divination, but with such a quality that they can be made into tea. It is a wonderful Joy merely to walk into the shop, but to have someone so kind working behind the counter whereas sometimes these places can be gruff or unenlightened is truly wonderful. Not only does Jennifer know her stuff, but she also knows how to speak and love any people that walk into her store. And she's not even the owner. They custom fit shoes when her feet were still growing and were slightly different sizes. They helped us with accessories and got this non-ballet mom on track to best support my daughter. “Cool place to stay for a couple of days if you don't lose all of your money in the casino downstairs. The room was clean and had heating and air conditioning with a nice shower, all for a fair price. I did go in the off-season for the horse racing and would like to experience it more when it gets more popular later in the year. Casino is only virtual tables and slots with no real dealers, but my wife and I still had fun making money on Roulette, then losing all the earnings. And don't forget the pool with a hot tub.”
