Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery

I had never been there before.

A friend of my family passed, a Vietnam veteran, who was memorialized there today. The grounds were immaculate -- however the magnitude of weight that hit me when I first saw the soldier's stones in perfect formation.... there are no words.

We came to the Menorial Day celebration here today because we did not have one at the Veteran's Cemetery in VT and it was amazing. From the program outlining the events, to the particular care that they paid to setting up chairs and checking in with the guests. The guest of honor speaker was thoughtful and gave an amazing speech. We will return every year to Saratoga for this amazing celebration that honors those that gave everything for us. We loved the bagpipes and the wreath laying. Rileys songs were beautiful. Awesome job and thank you to all the volunteers and workers that put this all together.

A beautiful, peaceful place with thousands of soldiers and civilians buried there. Grounds are very well kept, flags are out many times during the year. Wonderful way to honor veterans.

My in-laws are buried here. A place of serene remembrance. The cemetary is extremely well maintained. Thank you to the staff for their hard work at up-keep.

A reverential peaceful place extremely well tended. At the holidays every single grave is adorned with a wreath--see photos. One cannot visit without feeling awe at the sacrifices made by so many.

The cemetery is a beautiful & peaceful place. The employees take exceptional care of the graves, grounds, & our deceased family members. The grave locator near the entrance is very easy to use & the restrooms are always clean & well stocked. Recently, benches have been donated, dedicated to loved ones, & placed in various areas. I love spending time at this cemetery. 🙏🇺🇸🫡 Thank you to the VA employees & volunteers who maintain this piece of paradise! My relatives & friends buried here are well taken care of!
