Wow! A cool used bookstore with what feels like never-ending rooms. There is a huge selection of many different categories. There is something for everyone here. They even have old prints and maps. There is also a huge section dedicated to horse racing. They have many rare and signed editions for sale and in a vault in the basement. Great place to find well-priced books for kids.
Love getting lost here. The rooms just keep on going, but the real amazing area is the pile of $2 books in the front. I discovered a few books in that stack that I now consider some of my favorites.
Visited this book store while exploring Saratoga Springs and fell absolutely in love. The young woman at the front desk was a doll to speak with and even let me take photos with my camera - thank you so much! You can tell there is a lot of history that exists between the store's walls... and especially on them. Definitely recommend this gem to anyone who is looking for a book store experience that has a more local/small business vibe and not so corporate.
Book and library nerds must stop here! This unique bookstore keeps on going with so many rooms, packers with unique and diverse books in every corner and room. A museum in its own ways, enjoy!
A relatively recently re-organized haunt perfect for disappearing into a deliciously endless maze of books and prints. Excellent selection of regional, historical, and locally relevant subjects. Stupendous for Saratoga lovers and horse and racing related items, including wonderful prints ready to hang. Numerous rare and hard-to-find titles. One of the lasting portals into an older Saratoga, and a window into a thousand million minds voicing the many stories of times gone by. A jewel of the remaining independent bookstores, and possibly unsurpassed in the entire state (and beyond) given its mission. Have a cup of coffee and go sink in.
