I started looking for someone to seal my driveway (2,575 sq ft) in mid-August 2022. I contacted 6 companies and received responses from 4. The first quote I received was $500. The second was $650. When I last sealed my driveway in 2019 I paid somewhere around $250; I was prepared for it to be higher given inflation and the labor shortage, but those were still shocking estimates. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that BDB charges a set amount per square foot, with one rate if the driveway has been sealed before and another rate if it is new pavement. This gave me confidence that I was being charged fairly. I communicated with the office via email a number of times and the responses were always timely, informative and very pleasant. The original price was under $400 and with a special BDB was running ended up being $335 with tax included. BDB arrived promptly on the scheduled date and the guys did a fantastic job. Overall I was very impressed with BDB and will definitely use them again for sealing and if I ever need any asphalt work.

They did the best job of seal coating my driveway that I’ve seen in 20 years. From the estimator, to the office staff, to the team doing the work….everyone was friendly, polite and a pleasure to work with, I highly recommend them and will have them back in the future!!

We found B.D.B to be reasonably priced. Victor and Logan were professional and did a great job. They listened to all my husband's concerns before they began their work. I should note that my husband is a perfectionist and he couldn't be more satisfied.

The estimator who visited my home in 2019 and the second person who came in 2021 were both personable and professional. Appointments were kept and communication was timely. Customer service via telephone and e-mail with office staff was also thorough and prompt. I sincerely appreciate this much better than average performance, which is hard to come by with any business. I had sealcoating applied to my driveway and the job was done well, with care and the site was neat and clean afterward. The driveway was marked with a ribbon at the end. I would recommend BDB for this service if they are on the list of potential businesses to hire.

Had old asphalt driveway removed and a new one installed and widened. Scheduled and rescheduled 3 times, however i understand due to COVID, rain-outs and sadly a death of one of their crew members. I patiently waited for service and it was rewarded.

The quotes beat out 3 other competitors that i had estimates for. On the day of the service, they were supposed to arrive at 11 am. They arrived two hours earlier since i assume they finished their previous job quickly. They also put 5 in of crush instead of 2-3 under the asphalt.

They arrived with a whole crew of dudes and knocked this entire job out before 2:00 pm. It was like watching a perfectly coordinated machine, one dude was pulling up driveway, another dude was leveling, another dude was cutting. It was crazy watching these dudes perfect their craft. The crew was super nice and fun to talk to.

I asked if they could help me compress my backyard project since i didn't have a truck and they had the plate compactor there. They did my little yard project in 10 mins saving me tons of time and money and then went right back to their job.

I can't say enough wonderful things about the crew and company. I saw them at the times union virtual home show and went from there. No fly by night people here, they had all the professional equipment and all the skills. Money well worth it!
