“We used John Fridholm's services to have our home interior painted—walls, doors, and trim. Being new to the area, we first met with John in person and discussed our needs for the job. He provided a very fair estimate in a timely manner and we were able to have most of the job completed before our move-in date. John and Jeanette communicated with us to verify the priority areas (bedrooms). To say the job exceeded our expectations is an understatement. The work is flawless. Bear in mind this home has plaster walls and nearly every wall was full of fasteners, nails, and screw. The team of painters smoothed and filled all of these flaws and now I am debating whether to hang anything on these pristine walls! Two coats of Benjamin Moore paint was applied with a very high level of expertise. John came by to inspect the work, found a few things we didn't notice, and had his team touch up the very minor issues. We can't believe what a difference this work has made for us in moving to our new home. We would recommend John Fridholm Painting to anyone looking for high quality painting in an age where skilled work is hard to find.”

“If my dad and I didn’t have a comedy show to get to, we would have stayed all day. Walked in in the afternoon on a Saturday with no one there except Rachel, the bartender. We did a tasting of the spirits and she was super friendly and knowledgeable the spirits were smooooth. And her Schenectady Iced Tea was dangerous in the best way. There were even table top bar games there and I walked out with a 6 pack of the spirits. Will 100% be back I’d up in the area.”

“Was looking for a place for ice cream and stumbled on this place. It's easy to drive by (which we did) but glad we saw it because the ice cream was really good. Got cones with soft serve. The people at the counter were nice and the place was clean and would totally come back. They closed kinda early IMO (around 8:30 pm in June on a Saturday), so not there for a late night ice cream fix, but I won't hold that against them as the ice cream was great 😃”

“All businesses occasionally blunder - The mark of a business is how how they respond to those blunders. Brought a small engine unit in for a "tune-up" and called after 6 weeks when they repeatedly failed to call me. I was told my unit needed a new engine which was odd since the engine was running fine before I took it in. When I arrived to retrieve it, the obviously embarrassed service manager asked for a few minutes so he could personally look it over and quickly found out that the problem had been misdiagnosed. He fixed the problems and service the engine and, after apologizing, charged me nothing for his work or any parts. The unit is running like new. I have no complaints and admire their willingness to correct a mistake.”
