Lock 7 Boat Launch

As of June 2022, the construction is over and steps have been taken to control the water chestnuts near the boat ramp. The free parking lot now has a port-a-potty, but no picnic tables or other amenities.

They're doing a lot of construction here right now, and yet the place is still so beautiful. People roaming about enjoying the scenery and the fishing. We had a great day sitting under the shade of a tree and I will always remember lock seven from my childhood.

This is a real true local gem.
